Movie theaters?

Hi. We'll be staying in a home in Oak Island Cove on 192, very close the Formosa Gardens. We'd like to see a movie while we're there and would love to avoid traffic. Is there a nice stadium-style theater anywhere close by, or easy to drive to? Anyone know? Thanks.

Normally I would say Down Town Disney, but the construction there is insane. We were at Silver Lakes (Formosa Gardens area) the week after Thanksgiving. We went to the Epic Theaters in Clermont. It's about 1/2 hour drive straight up Rte 27.

We go to AMC at DTD at least twice a week and construction isn't an issue, parking is even better since they opened the garage. It takes us 15 - 20 minutes from your area.

Celebration has a two theater cinema.

There is a Regal at The Loop which is on John Young Parkway. We are thinking of seeing the new Hobbit there next week. The theater in DTD is a movie/restaurant. My husband doesn't want to fe distracted by the servers when he's trying to watch The Hobbit!

Only a small portion of the theaters are "fork and screen," AMC's name for the movie/restaurant concept. The rest are regular theaters.

We always went to DTD.

Thanks, all, for your input. We do know a way to get to Downtown Disney that uses back roads.We may just do that.
