Has anyone used Universal's movie star shuttle service or the AAA shuttle service for transportation from WDW to Universal? How was it? How much did it cost? Were you the only passengers? Could you specify any time for pick up? Did you need to have a pickup time set or could you call 1-2 hours before you wanted to go back to WDW? Thank you.

I've never heard of this... But I'm interested. Anyone?

We always use Mears Shuttle and have been satisfied. It costs $12 roundtrip between WDW and USF for one adult, or $20 roundtrip for 2 adults. You call the night before and schedule your pickup time. Very fast, very convenient, very easy.

I'm not familiar with either shuttle but I did find some info on them.

Skip the rental car. AAA is offering a door to door roundtrip shuttle service that runs from WDW resorts to Universal. Transportation and one day's admission to Universal Studios® = US$49.95. Transportation and the 2-day Escape Pass to both Universal Studios® and Islands of Adventure® = US$99.95. Make your reservation at AAA one week in advance.

Another way to skip the rental car: take the Movie Star Shuttle offered by Universal. Rates vary according to how far you are traveling, but if you are staying at WDW or nearby, this could save you $$$. A one-day pass including van or limo starts at $49.95 + tax per rider (whether child or adult); a two-day pass with van or limo starts at $99.95 + tax per adult rider; $89.95 for each child. For more details, call 800/711-0080 or 407/224-7000.

I would call the phone # to confirm and get more info. :)
