Movie secretly shot at Disneyworld

Wouldn't Disney be able to sue him for that?

Debatable, but I'm sure they are not interested in providing it the massive free publicity it would get if they were to do so. They seem content to let it come and go quietly.

Doesn't sound too complimentary to Disney, according to what I read on nbcnews.
Whether it's "complimentary to Disney" doesn't really figure in anywhere. It's not about Disney. It's not like they made a secret documentary.

It's a movie about a man having a nervous breakdown. They just decided to use Disney World as the backdrop.

:earsboy:

Disney has only really commented to acknowledge they know that the movie exists, and nothing more. If they seek an injunction to shut the movie down it will give it such a huge PR boost that it will bring what is just another in a huge mass of indie meh's into a cult following, and Disney knows it. As long as the movie isn't making money it seems the mouse is want to let it just run its course and die, instead of giving it the infamy that will be impossible to quell. Now if the movie becomes popular on its own and starts gaining sales or ever is up for a release outside of the indie circuit, then you will certainly see legal action, but before then it's better to let a martyr die alone than give it a rallying cry.

I read there is an element of pedophilia in it. :crazy2: I also heard that it's not good, like at all.

1. It seems that the movie makers were very careful to make it a hard case for Disney to sue doing things like replacing the music on scenes shot in Small World. It not at all cut and dry. Its been reported that the only thing they could maybe get them for is some sort of trespassing.

2. Streisand Effect

It's not that great. I bought it on iTunes and watched it over the weekend.
Honestly didn't get the ending of it either.

It's interesting for what it is, a secretly filmed movie in Disney.

Funny though they bleeped out the one time I heard the word Disney mentioned in the film LOL.

They've got a countdown clock ticking off time before they get sued.

I don't think that's going to happen. Disney lawyers are too smart for that.

Rotten Tomatoes gives it a splat 55. Not good.
