Movie~ Roll Bounce

This is a movie with Bow Wow in it that DD wants to see. I guess it comes out on video this week and she's dying to see it. We're pretty strict about what she watches. This one is PG-13-She's 13, I'm torn as to whether or not to rent it for her. I read this review:http://www.kids-in-mind.com/r/rollbounce.htm I don't really care about the language or violence, the sexual stuff is what we object to.

Have you seen this movie? How is it?

Never seen it, or even heard about it.

I suggest that you rent it and watch and and if you approve let her watch.

Yes but if your concerned you should watch with her and judge her reactions and see if it's time for another talk.

I'm not concerned about this specific movie per se....more a PG13 general question...she's 13 now, this is how PG13 movies are, do I let her watch them without batting an eye or do I continue to monitor them? DH says we keep setting limits on her movie viewing until she's 20 ....I don't know about that, but I don't know how hard I want to fight this battle.

Anyway, I was wondering if anybody out there on the DIS had actually seen this movie and what you thought about any sexual material in the movie. Is it appropriate for young teens?
