Ok, there is a really long story behind this, but I will just get to the point and hope it helps someone, in someway.

I was going through lots and lots of old papers and bills last night and I came across what I thought was an unused movie rewards code. The bad thing was that I had no idea what movie it was from, so I entered it and discovered something!:rolleyes1 It rewarded me with 50 points  and when I read the description of what I had entered, it said it was a Disney Movie Club Offer. In the corner of the paper that that the code on it - there was 'DMC' in small letters. I have really no idea where this came from:confused: , but my thought is that it probably came in the envelope that they send with my movie club movies. I never look at all of the stuff that they send when the movies arrive, so I can not be sure that I am right. If anyone can confirm where this 50 point DMC code came from, maybe it could help someone.:goodvibes

Hmmm...I rarely open mine since I do most of mine online.

I'll have to check when I get home. :)

How old were the papers that you were going through? I know that another meaning of the acronym "DMC" is "Dead Man's Chest" so if you bought Dead Man's Chest a while ago, maybe they sent you bonus points when they sent you the movie.

I do mine online too and never look at that stuff, but I found this loose code in with other papers, so I have no clue where it came from.

Hmm, I just joined DMC ( I had to after Inferno magic was released as a reward ;) )and received my DVD's this weekend. I couldn't find a code anywhere for DMC, but I just joined. Did you fulfill your obligation and you're now a VIP member? Was it on an invoice or was it on one of the inserts they put in the package? I'll keep my eyes open from now on for those codes. Thanks for sharing the info.

I am a VIP member, it was not on an invoice. It looked like one of the inserts in the movie packages, just like a regular movie reward code. Idk what the envelope looked like.

Hi there :).

I am a member of the Disney Movie Club and have received Rewards Codes (for 50 points) inside the envelope that comes with your order (its full of advertisements for various Disney stuff). I can't imagine how many of those I threw away before I realized it was there not to long ago. But its nice to get :).

Hope this info helps!

Oh drat! That means I just got 1 last month and threw it away without knowing. :( I also don't buy from them unless they are having their buy 1 get everything else 50% off sale.
Otherwise, they are too expensive and I can get most stuff (other than exclusives) cheaper online. :(

oh man! i always throw mine out! :scared1:
from now on i will look! hope they don't decide to stop doing that, now :lmao:

I've been a Disney Movie Club member since its debut and always go thru the adverts, however, have only received ONE of the Movie Rewards code, I think it was two or three envelopes back. I'm also a VIP. Hope this info helps.
FYI, just found out today that if there are 125-point codes in the Disney Treasures DVDs (Chronological Donald- Volume 3, Disneyland: Secrets, Stories & Magic, and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit). I bought mine at Best Buy today for 2/$40, on sale from regular price of $29.99 (single movies $24.99 on sale until I assume Saturday night 12/15). Great Stuff!! W00t!

Something else I have learned is that the Target Stores in my area (Seattle) take out the Disney Rewards inserts so be careful buying from there (I have heard that not all stores remove them). I made the mistake of buying a few movies there and not getting codes (so disappointing). I had to mail in the UPC codes and receipts to Rewards (and I have yet to receive my codes). Just a thought I had when reading these posts.

BTW I received Jungle Book from the Disney Movie Club tonight and there was another 50 point code in the paperwork. So they are still giving them out that way.

How are they removing them? They have to open them to take them out. :confused3

The manager at the Target near my house told me that they open them up and put some of their own inserts in the movies. They also put their security tags on the inside of the covers there. So they must open them up and then repackage them I guess. I have friends in other states who have never had a problem with Target, so I don't think its everywhere. But I don't buy Disney movies there anymore. I want my codes ;).
