Movie quotes that are part of your daily vocabulary

How can "We're not in Kansas anymore" not be on the list? Unless, of course, you are in Kansas.

And, of course, there's "Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bump ride" (which TIL is a misquote of the original, where Bette Davis actually says "... bumpy night").

Not a day goes by that a movie, TV or song quote isn't made in our house or that one of us doesn't burst out in song, usually for no reason.
Favorites:

D****it Janet from Rocky Horror, sorry to say both my DH and DS are ex-military so swear words happen a lot.
DH and DS quote Princess Bride all the time, I've never seen it so I just give them a blank look when they crack up.
It's good to be the king from Mel Brooks History of the World, we have a lot from that one.
Don't call me Shirley from Airplane, again a lot from that one any time we fly we always assume crash positions people look at us like we are crazy and if I get a second cup of coffee DH always does Jim never gets a second cup of coffee at home.
I made fire from Castaway, for some reason DH and DS love that one, I think because they can puff out their chests. (DS is 34 by the way so no excuse that he is a child)
We often imitate Ministry of Silly Walks from Monty Python, not on purpose in my case I just get all bent if I've been sitting awhile. DH actually got me a ministry of silly walks watch.
I am a lumber jack and I'm o.k, another Monty Python
Cheeseburger, cheeseburger, cheeseburger SNL, we do a lot from the 70s SNL, Never mind.
DH likes to quote Hamburger Hill, marine thing I guess.
DH and DS love a movie called Bubba Hotep and often quote it.
The f**k you at the drive through Lethal Weapon 2, bonus o.k., o.k., o.k.
It takes the entire grit eating world twenty minutes (we are from Georgia and sadly we use instant grits) from My Cousin Vinny
Yutes from My Cousin Vinny
I routinely twist the maximum amount of torquage My Cousin Vinny
Pretty much anything from My Cousin Vinny actually, DH loves that movie

The Jerk is an awesome movie. Love Steve Martin!

I'm paraphrasing here...."the first day felt like a week, the second day felt like 3 days, the third day, well that felt like a day"...

Airplane is another classic...There is a problem in the cockpit. The cockpit, what is it? It's the little room in the front of the plane, but that's not important now.

The phrase "do you like gladiator movies?" comes up all the time in my group of friends.

I finally know where "you're killing me smalls" comes from. Thank you! I hear this all the time and couldn't place it.

Being from Kansas, I do quote from Wizard of Oz a little too much . . . "I'll get you my pretty and your little dog too." Also walking/working in public "If I only had a brain." :rolleyes1

"I'm a lady" from Aristocats

My family quotes from Airplane too.

Everytime I see my little niece I shout "Release the baby!" from the Croods.

"Where do these stairs go?", "That makes good financial sense", "Who does your taxes?", and "Yes, have some" - Ghostbusters
"Not that there's anything wrong with that" - Seinfeld
"It's not a tumor" - Kindergarten Cop
"I'll be back" - Terminator
"I'm sailing!" and "mmm, mmmm, mmmmmm (at dinner)" - What about Bob
A Christmas Story ("those icicles have been known to kill people!") and Friends ("seven, seven, seven!") - too many to mention

"Booty Traps" from The Goonies - anytime I mispronounce a word.

From Tommy Boy - "Housekeeping. You want mint for pillow?" when knocking on my kid's door.

Also from Tommy Boy - "did you eat a lot of paint chips when you were a kid?"

for times someone has too much perfume on "Went a little heavy on the pine tree perfume there, kid?"

anytime someones gets hurt "Oh, that's gonna leave a mark!"

and DH's fave - also from Tommy Boy, and I didn't realize we quoted so much from this movie -

"Fat guy in a litle coat" for pretty much anything that doesn't fit.

and from Anchorman, just becuase it is funny
"60% of the time it works, every time."

So very many. Lots have been mentioned here, but one that hasn't is our favorite "So you're telling me there's a chance", from Dumb and Dumber. Also, "Are you going to ....go for it?" from "Vacation".

Well, that didn't pan out - True Grit (remake)

I love the smell of (fill in the blank) in the morning - Apocalypse Now

Well who the heck doesn't like the smell of Napalm in the morning!!

Leave the gun, take the cannoli - The Godfather. At least once a week...

He'll be crying himself to sleep tonight, on his giant pillow - So I Married an Axe Murderer

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I actually have that pasted on my locker at work!

My fave I always go for, while not in the movies.

"And now for something completely different"

And from the movies

"it's only a flesh wound"

"I'm getting better" - said anytime anyone criticizes you

." "Big Ben...Parliament..." Vacation
We go the other way. "Look kids! We knooooow!"

We tend to have entire conversations using only movie/tv/song quotes. It's sad really.
"I've never been to Belize" - Ocean's Eleven
"Mine!" - Finding Nemo
Pretty much the entire Monty Python library, especially "Spam!" and "This is an EX parrot! It has ceased to be!"

And my favorite of the moment, "Dammit Giuseppe!" our ad lib from the new Arby's commercial.

"Reckon you make me some biscuits."
