Movie Premiers

Last summer I visited Disneyland on what seemed like any ordinary day and it turned out to be the premier of the Pirates of the Carribean movie. I had no idea they had these in the parks. Do they do this for every Disney movie? And do they announce when it will be?

By the way, it was the most exciting Disney day I have ever had. It was my first trip to Disneyland CA and I will never forget it. Johnny Depp is even cuter in person! I love Jack Sparrow!

No they don't. I wish I'd known they were premiering that ahead of time as I would have been there.

Pirates was a special event. It is the first time they have premiered a movie in the park. Of course no guests were allowed at the actually premier and the park did close early because of it.

They premiered Princess Diaries at the AMC in DTD a month or so ago.


As for announcements, keep your eyes on Disneyland websites like mouseinfo and mouseplanet. It is almost always "announced" on sites like those.
