Movie Map of the United States

I would have gone with Gran Torino or The Crow. Not sure where they get some of the info in Wiki though. . . . (apparently Beverly Hills Cop is a Michigan film as well!)

Those were the two that immediately came to mind for me too, along with Four Brothers and Grosse Pointe Blank.

The only part of Beverly Hills Cop that is set here is the opening. The main character is from Detroit and that's where the murder that sets the story in motion takes place, but all but about 10min of the movie happens in LA so I really wouldn't count that as a Michigan movie.

I was thinking the same thing. Only other one I could come up with was also sports: "A League Of Their Own" A League of their Own was based & filmed in Southern Indiana.

There have been a # of films done here, but Hoosiers probably best represents Indiana. The other one I might have chosen would be Rudy.

As much as I love Groundhog Day, for Pennsylvania, I instantly thought of The Sixth Sense or the original Night of the Living Dead.

"Taxi Driver" as the best for NY? That would be low on my list.
The first ones I think of are "Annie Hall," "Manhattan," "Breakfast at Tiffany's," "The French Connection," "Moonstruck" and "Miracle on 34th Street."

Scarface for Florida? Really? The movie that best represents the Sunshine State is Scarface? Heck, even True Lies would be a better choice!
