I've missed some pages in between, but I wanted to mention the Safeway O Organics again. We hadn't gone shopping in awhile so I couldn't read our usual labels. But yesterday I brought some stuff home again, and again confirm that they just don't seem to have the HFCS in them!
I'm looking at their Ritz-style crackers and their Seeds&Grains bread right now, and it's not in there. Same with PB and jellies/jams. Good stuff!
Taking it back to Disney...
Does anyone know about Dole Whips? I saw on a website this ingredient list.
Water, High Fructose Corn Sugar, Sugar, Corn Syrup, Pineapple Juice Concentrate, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Maltodextrin, Stabilizers (Cellulose, Locust Bean, Guar, Xanthan, Karaya Gum, Pectin), Citric Acid, Sodium Caseinate (A Milk Derivative), Mono & Diglycerides, Sodium Citrate, Salt, Dipotassium Phosphate, Articial Flavor, Extractives of Annatto & Turmeric.
But just now while googling I found:
Sugar, Dextrose, Pineapple Crystals, Partially hydrogenated soybean oil, Stabilizers (Cellulose, Locust Bean, Guar, Xanthan, Karaya Gum, Pectin), Sodium Silico Aluminate, Vegetable Fiber, Citric Acid, Artificial Flavor, Sodium Caseinate (a milk derivative), Mono & Diglycerides, Sodium Citrate, Salt, Dipotassium Phosphate, Artificial Color Including F.D. & C. Yellow #6.
First...high fructose corn SUGAR?
Second...both posts (I didn't include those here) cite precisionfoods as the source.
OK, well...just looked it up on my own

Says the dextrose one is it, not the "high fructose corn sugar" one...hmm.
Gack. Could the fact that DS had a tizzyfit directly after eating one actually mean he has CORN problems (corn syrup, and I have heard that dextrose is a corn product), not just HFCS problems???!!!! aughhhhhhhhhhh. I liked the HFCS ingredient list better.
This might sound like just venting, but if anyone has any knowledge for me, do let me know.
