Mousesavers reporting a huge deal for first half of 2009 coming tomorrow!

I just check my reservation online on Disney's website. The total $$ amount is way off. It's like the discount was not applied. But the CM on the phone quoted me the right amount. Has this happened to anyone?

I just checked my ressie online and it didn't show the $200 gift card. The amount was right and my dates for getting the gift card are in the time frame. Anybody else's ressie not show the gift card?

While speaking to my CM she also said they had just gotten the memo that length of stay tickets were required in order to get this promotion. I was on the Disney web site, while I was talking to her and told her the website was letting me book it with a one day park ticket. She told me it would bounce back when I entered my credit card and it would not be honored, as the web site was wrong. She then proceeded to read directly from the memo stating length of stay tickets are required. We'll see! Right now I have eight nights at POP Century May 9th-17th with a one day base ticket for $674.31. If an AP discount comes out later that beats it, I can always cancel.:cool1:

Just an fyi that I booked online and did not purchase length of stay tickets. I had no problems once I entered my credit card info and confirmed everything.

My printed confirmation from my online booking does show the $200 gift card.

WooHoo!! :woohoo: We're booked! Saved $1600 on two rooms at POFQ, plus 2 $200 gift cards! :yay:

My confirmation # changed. Is it possible that ADRs will be affected? I don't recall giving a confirmation # for any of them, but am worried. I paid for CRT in full, so I wouldn't think they would cancel it, but who knows?

your adr's are connected to the phone number you have listed on your ressie.

YEA!! We just saved $200 at Pop PLUS we added an extra day! :cool1: Thanks for the info, guys-- the CM I talked to couldn't believe I'd never been to WDW before because I was so on top of all the latest info. You guys ROCK!!:thumbsup2

I would like to congratulate everyone who got what they wanted. And good luck to those still shopping.

And a huge THANK YOU!!!!! to all who are "in the know" for giving the heads up to us.

So happy right now!

We just booked February 14-21 Magic Kingdom view at Grand Floridian! We're annual passholders, but even including the tickets we still saved over $1000 compared to a room only booking! GF, here we come again!

Thanks for the news! This thread is the reason why we were able to get such a fantastic deal!

Its killing me....I'm leaving in 19 days, but with this deal kinda wish it wasn't foar 2 more months!

I was told the POP was sold out for this offer.

here's what I got:

Original reservation
Pop for 6 nights with 7 day Park Hopper $851.83

New reservation
All Star Music for 6 nights with 7 day Park Hopper $658.32, plus the $200 GC

Seems like a good deal to me. I hope All Star Music is okay though. I know nothing about it.
Music is nice. I think you'll be happy there!

Mary (FoodLover), thanks for staying with us through this and continuing to keep us updated. Your web site is fantastic! I follow what you are saying though. If everyone in your party does not have AP's then you would have to purchase 4 day MYW base tickets to accomodate everyone in your party. Otherwise, it might work for a party of all AP holders to purchase one day MYW base tix if you are getting the $200 gift card. Will they allow for us to apply that amt. to our next AP renewal? I ask because I already have a 1 day credit to apply to my renewal from the Disney Visa free dining pkg period in Dec. since I had to purchase 1 day MYW base tix for my mom and I for those four days, but they told me I can apply that amount towards my renewal as a credit. Do you know if this is the same for this package?
You can only apply 1 ticket to a renewal.

Reposting my question... are the room rates rack rates or can AAA or AP discounts be applied? Also, if you have an AP, can the 7 day tickets be held for future use? I assume you can add the hopper option?

Thanks! So excited for everyone that has gotten a discount!
You have to pay rack rate for the 4 paid nights.

Okay I'm looking at this online. We have APs and room only ressies for a deluxe room at WL for $4900. It's not available under this deal, but we could get a Lagoon View Club level room at the Poly for 3658 (w/1 day tix) or deluxe room at BWI for 3365. Do you think it's worth it?
I would take the LV CL at Poly!!!!! The transportation (monorail or boat to MK and direct monorail to Epcot) is better at Poly than WL.

I really wanted to book a 'bonus' trip for 2009 for my 40th in June...(we already have Sept 09 @ the Contemporary booked w/ free dining).
Without the free dining for this deal, being the budget type of person, I just didn't see it as a GREAT deal for adding another 2009 trip. So I decided not to book it. :sad2:
However, when I came home I found DH BOOKING MY BIRTHDAY TRIP!
So we are in for 7 nights at ASMovies. I am so excited! I have been crying for the past hour. So in the end...Mommy gets to ride Splash Mountain and see Mickey on her 40th. :cake: ::MickeyMo Now where to eat on my birthday.
What a great guy!!!! I'm going for my birthday-starting with breakfast at Crystal Palace and dinner at California Grill.

Can an AAA room discount be applied here?
No.

I had 6 nights AKL Club Level booked in Jan with a AAA discount. I couldn't get AP discount on that room. My DD(9) thought we were going to Pop. When I got wind of this deal coming I asked her what resorts she'd be interested in she said she had no interest in staying at AKL.:confused3 She wanted a beach.

SO....I got 7 nights at Poly GV with 7 day tickets for both of us and $200 gift card for less than $100 more. She needed a ticket. I will save mine for January 2010. I LOVE the Poly so now we'll both be really happy. I already had airfare booked but Jet Blue changed my flights from 9am to 7am so I called and said I didn't like that and wanted to go the day before and they changed my flights for free!:cool1:

I also booked 7 nights at AKL CL for May with DS (7). So I get 1 more night than I had originally booked in Jan, plus it is regular season, plus about $450 worth of tickets. DS will need one and my AP will have expired. I paid less than $300 more for this. I called last week and tried to book same dates and was told I couldn't get AAA on this room so I saved $1,367 over rack rate. DS can't wait to stay at AKL and this will be my birthday trip so I'll get that gift card.

Can an AAA room discount be applied here?

No. You can't stack discounts...one discount per reservation, you choose which one you want applied. In general, I'd say the 7 for 4 is a better discount than AAA room discounts...at least it was for us. (We saved $428 more with this promo than what the AAA room discount would have been. And we don't get the $200 gift card.)

We tried to book using this deal and there are no family suites available but if we book w/o the deal they can give us a family suite. Im like HUH
There are only a set number of rooms with any code. When they are gone, they are gone.
You may want to even look on line as that will most likely be different inventory.

We got the BWI for Feb 1 - 8 w/ dining (2 adults). If we had booked at regular price thru disneyworld.com it would have been $3798. With the special code it's only $2648. Plus, there's the $200 credit.

That is such a huge savings! Now we can go on 2 vacations!

Thanks everyone at the dis for helping us save!!

Yeah, I think you are right (about this deal being better). I saved about $430 over my AAA deal for 7 nights at CBR.

BTW, can someone help me understand this "7 day/7 night thing"? I am just getting confused needlessly I think.

We booked April 28-May 5 which is 8 days, 7 nights. So presumably I just paid for the extra day on my ticket? Because dining is done by the number of nights (which for me is the same as the package deal). So I assume my price just includes an extra day of passes, does that make sense?

I booked online and definitely it says 8 day base MYW tix, so I assume it worked correctly. Just confusing me for some reason...

I would like to say THANK YOU as well--I think:confused3 I was happy enough when I checked the boards and got a great AP AKL rate last May:) . I was even happier when out of the blue I was able to add "free Dining" to my "girls only" trip for next week:) :) . DH has a business trip to Orlando in Feb. and youngest DD and I are planning on tagging along and going to SW. Yesterday I check the boards and I'm happy to add a few days to our trip(DD & I) at a $49 AP rate at the same time I am curious to see what the "great deal" is about. As luck would have it I got right through online at about 5:03. So, now I have 7n. booked instead of four:) :) :) Email confirmation came right through. Then I start thinking:upsidedow DH said "he" couldn't go prior to business trip but he never said that he couldn't go after. Again, I get right online and those 7 days are available as well-so I book another 7 nights:upsidedow :upsidedow (DH is away now so I can't ask him). My intention is to cancel one of the weeks but all I keep thinking about now is wow how great would it be to spend 2 1/2 weeks in Orlando(sure would make the winter go faster). I would love it if my parents would join DD and I the first week and DH could sure use a break. Older kids may even be able to sneak down for a few days...hmmmm...... So, again THANKS for another great tip:woohoo:

Re: Family suites...

Someone said they had trouble getting the package on these online. I may be wrong, but for a while they were not taking any discounts on Family suites. They were blacked out for promotions. Now in this case it may just be that all the suite packages are gone already, but it may be that they just aren't offering the deal on the suites. If you call, I am sure a CM can tell you for sure though.

I was just playing around online (still) and the family suites popped up for the offer for $1864.25 for our dates.
