I was just wondering what range of questions are used in Who Wants to Be a Mouseketeer? Animated films, tv shows, DCL trivia, etc or is it anything and everything Disney? The last time I played WWTBAM at MGM I was doing great until a question came up about some of the Playhouse characters (Bear..., Stanley, Rolie...). I realized it's been a while since I'm seen Disney tv programming for young kids. I can just see myself poised to win a free cruise when Stanley comes back to haunt me again! :earseek:

I was a contestant on our cruise a year ago. It was mostly questions about movies, but I would say that they use anything and everything. The one I lost on was "How old was Walt Disney when Disney Land opened?"
Not that I'm complaining mind you, I did win $140 of on board credit!! :D

Hi Jen,
I was on a 12/1 Wonder cruise and got on WWTBAM. I was fortunate to get all the way to the top and win the cruise. I do know that Kevin Neary writes all of the questions for the show. He's got all of the Ultimate Disney Trivia Books to look at. Myself, I didn't study. You just have to live Disney. I was a store CM for 3 1/2 years but had to quit over family health problems. During that time, I was store trivia champ and got to regional competition. The questions that I got dealt with feature animated films, cartoons, the theme parks (foreign ones) and Buena Vista television shows. The final question was not the hardest I got either, in my opinion. I think that it's really just fate if you get up there to begin with and then the luck of the draw when it comes to the questions you receive. I had 2 Peter Pan questions and I had just watched the movie 6 times with nieces and nephews on a visit recently. Luck, just luck.

Of course, keeping your fingers crossed and pixie dust helps, too!

From what I saw when we were on the Wonder, they ask about anything and everything Disney. Me, DW and DS8 knew most of them, but the one that stumped me was "Name the city where Walt Disney was born". DS guessed it correctly - no idea how he picked the right answer.

Too bad he wasn't on stage :(

You've all made me feel much better. If the questions are that varied, I don't feel compelled to study. If there was a specific theme or focus, I'd probably force myself to bone up JUST IN CASE :) Since they're anything Disney, I feel much more like leaving things up to fate!

hey bearfan......I used to be our store trivia champ as well. Won the New York District a few years back!!! I wish they still had the competition...it was great fun.

We just returned from the 1/4 Magic and no one won the cruise that week but a woman won over $5,000 at bingo the last day. She was reduced to tears.....she could not believe it!!!
