mousekeeping at DVC?

We will be staying at OKW for the first time. We have never stayed at any DVC property before. We have only stayed DLX prior to this visit.
I'm sure this has been covered tons of times but I can't seem to locate the info.
Can you tell me about mousekeeping? DO they come every day? WHats T/T? I have to pay for extra towels? Do they have housekeeping I can call if I need something?
I have 8 people checking in. WIll I receive 8 towels? I can certainly do a load of wash, but 8 people sharing 4 towels will be a bit much.

Hi, you will get T/T on the 4th day and a full clean on the 8th day. I can not remember how many towels that you get. We have never had a problem running out of towels except for once and I just grabbed a few from the quiet pool while a load was in the wash. On the trash tidy, they empty trash, replace towels, shampoos, soap, paper towels, etc. If you are staying 8 or more nights the T/T and full cleaning are swapped.

Are you staying on points or through a regular CRO reservation? If it's a CRO reservation, you will get housekeeping daily, just like any other resort. If it's points, it depends on how many nights you are staying. If you are staying 7 nights or less, you will get trash & towel on day 4 (check-in day is day 1). If you are staying 8 nights or more, you will get a full cleaning on day 4 and trash & towel on day 8.

You will have 4 sets of towels in each bathroom. With a 2 bedroom, you will have 2 bathrooms.

You can get extra trash & towel service for $10 per day. An extra full cleaning would be $40 for a 2 bedroom.

I believe that is for 4 sets of towels. For a 2 bedroom, it would make more sense to get trash & towel service for $10 and get 8 sets of towels. I can't figure out why they didn't make trash & towel service more for a 2 bedroom or GV.

WHat I didnt mention was that it is a reservation through CRO for 5 nights. No points used.
So, I guess we get daily housekeeping then?

Yes, you will get a full cleaning daily at no extra charge, just like any other resort.

What about Mousekeeping tipping, what are the general rules for tipping for Mousekeeping? Do you just tip on day 4 - we'll be there 7 nights - just 2 of us in a Studio.

They have little tent cards in the rooms that explain the cleaning procedures now. Stay 7 nights or less, you get your trash removed and clean towels on day 4 (checkin is day 1). Stay 8 nights or more, full cleaning on day 4 and T&T on day 8. So every four days you get one or the other.

One bedroom and studio gets 4 bath towels, 4 face cloths and two hand towels. Two bedroom gets 8 bath towels, 8 face cloths and 4 hand towels.
