Mousekeeping and "split" stay in same resort

I apologize if this has been asked before. I am curious about the Mousekeeping services we will receive during our stay. We have friends staying with us during part of our visit so we have to "move" from a one bedroom to a two bedroom lock-off. I say "move" because when I made the ressies, the CM said we could stay in the same room and our friends would be in the lock-off. We aren't really changing rooms but we had to have two reservations. How will this work for Mousekeeping services? Will it end up being just a couple of "trash and towel" days for the length of our stay?

As far as I know, there's not a guarantee that if you are in a lock off, when you go from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom that you will be in the same unit. You can mention it at Check in. I would call ms to be sure that you understand correctly.

If you are able to retain the 1BR and if you are issued new KTTW cards for the second segment when your friends join you in the studio portion of the L/O, then I think you might get stuck with only T&T cleaning. Part of the problem is your friends have not been there the same amount of time and the 2 BR L/O cleaning schedule begins with their stay. However, between reservations a room should have a full cleaning, so I would think you could use that as a basis to get mousekeeping to clean the 1BR and replace the sheets and towels.

Good question since we have 2 RCI reservations for back to back weeks at BCV both in dedicated 2BR with a Q/sofa in the 2nd room. I had MS note it on our reservation so we hopefully don't have to switch rooms and it seems likely that they won't have to move us, but I wonder what our Mousekeeping schedule will be then....

Usually the reservations are treated as separate reservations and the Mousekeeping rules are applied separately.

Thats kind of what I figured...

However, between reservations a room should have a full cleaning, so I would think you could use that as a basis to get mousekeeping to clean the 1BR and replace the sheets and towels.
