Mousefest? MVMCP? Anything to worry about?

A certain other website of Dinsey info has the following statement regarding the MVMCP this year:

"Reminder: the big Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party meets during MouseFest will most likely be on Thursday, December 7. Please plan accordingly."

Does this mean there will be a larger crowd on Dec. 7th? That is the date my DW and I are planning on attending, but we might want to move it if the crowds will be larger due to "Mousefest" - whatever that is...

Disney sells the same number of tix, regardless of what group might be having a meet there, I think the most likely thing to happen if it is the Mousefest party night is that a large number of folks will be travelling in a pack, which might actually make the lines shorter at the places they aren't at! We're going that night too; maybe we'll see you!

Mousefest is fun but it's like a mosquito in a thunderstorm compared to park crowds. Don't worry about it. The dates you have to watch out for are the ones for which discounted tickets are not available. Those are the ones Disney expects to sell out.

No way. Less than 500 people attend MouseFest each year, if I recall correctly. Of those, my guess is that a maximum of 50-75 will actually attend any given event (such as MVMCP).
