Well, heck, even if another day jumps ahead, I want to go drinking with Tracy, so I'm there.

I've seen talk of midday on Saturday - definitely enough time for you to do an MK morning and scoot over for a midday beverage before dinner!

The date and time of the drink around the World Showcase will depend on the other meets. Hopefully, when the entire Mousefest schedule is released we will have a better idea when we can do it.

Mousefest is an international gathering of Disney online communities, authors, and webmasters at Walt Disney World. Several online communities, authors, and webmasters host meets at various Disney World venues so they have an opportunity to meet other Disney enthusiasts like us. There is a DCL and land portion of Mousefest. Most people attend the land portion of Mousefest.

All of these meets revolve around a mega meet on Saturday, Dec 13th at the Yacht & Beach Club conference center.

This particular "Drink Around the World" meet is one put together for anyone interested in meeting other DISers who hang around the Podcast forum, listen to the DIS Unplugged podcast, or post here on the DIS. All are welcome!

The 2008 event/meet schedule is not posted yet, but you can get a good idea of the meets by looking at the 2007 schedule. The only meet officially scheduled for 2008 is the Mega Mouse Meet on Saturday, Dec. 13th. See you there!

I am leaning more towards the 13th myself. Mostly because I have a feeling that the park is going to be rather crowded and my MIL is going to want to bail on us. If she bails, that means that Corey will most likely go back to CR with her and that means I am free to play with my DIS buddies!

I originally voted for the 9th, but I have now changed my plans and I am going to be there from 12/10 - 12/15. I want to be there on the 13th, but it is according to what all goes on with Mousefest that day. I thought about going to Matt Hochberg's (wdwtoday) Dessert Party at Fantasmic and I'm also hoping the Dis Unplugged will give us their plans. They get first priority.
