Motorcade for Star Wars Weekend

Going to WDW for the first time and are excited to go to Star Wars Weekend at HS! What is the Motorcade? Is it a different event than the parade?

The SWW parade is diffrent that the regular parade. The motorcade is all star wars. But does not conflict with the regular parade. I would suggest if you would like to go find out the time and find a seat a half an hour before it starts. hope this helps.

The past few years the Star Wars motorcade has been about 11:00/11:15 if I remember correctly. At the entrance to HS you will be able to get a regular HS map & show guide as well as a special HS Star Wars Weekend map, it should have the times listed. Definately find a seat or spot along the parade route early.
