Hey-

I'm looking for brides that hired the private motor coaches through Disney. I know we're responsible for getting the information to everyone as far as times, etc. We sent out an information newsletter in July that stated we had motor coaches. We're finishing up the second one to go out later this week. In that one, we've included all the times and when to be there, etc. Should we also include the information in the welcome baskets? I don't want it to seem as though we think they're stupid, but I want them to have the information available and on hand (non of the, "Oh shoot! We left it at home!") at Disney.

Also, we're trying to include the information about accessing photos on the website through Disney for them. What are the user name and password? When are they available? How long are they available for? Guests can choose to view and purchase photos online, correct? EM is out of the office until tomorrow. I can wait until then, but I really wanted toget these suckers printed and addressed today.

Thanks for the hlep ladies!
xoxo

i know were putting the motorcoach info in our welcome letter in our welcome bag for guests at check in. "Wedding transportation is provided at 12-12:15 p.m. outside the main lobby of Disney's Allstar Movies Resort for motorcoach service to the Yacht Club. Return transportation to your Resort will begin at 9:30 p.m. from Epcot's International Gateway, our park host will be on hand to help." our is just a nice friendly reminder, im also putting our cell phone number which my mom will have incase guests are confused.

as for the photos it seems there available at about 2-3 weeks after the event online. the user name is your last name/ his last name wedding (ie jones / jones wedding) your em or photographer will give the password at that time, although it seems the passwords for the few months have been 1971. and yes you & guests can view and purchase your wedding photos online.

best of luck, i cant believe your days almost here! :goodvibes

We have the password listed as a line item in our BEO... just wasn't sure waht the combinaiton was for the User Name. I will probably wait until she gets back tomorrow... still means I can address them.

I can't believe it either... I'm getting veru distracted... :hyper2: almost like ADD. It's like I'm doing one thing and then BAM! I'm off doing something else. He asks, "Babe, did you finish ____?" "Uummmmm... about a quarter of it."

Must focus. Must focus. Must focus!

I highly recommend putting the pick up information and times in your welcome note/basket. We had a couple people who didn't see that in our preliminary information, and we were given the times just a couple days in advance because the original transportation plan missed one hotel. There's another note - CONFIRM WITH YOUR EM that any changes in the plan have been made with transportation and the EM received a confirmation from them. Ours didn't and a resort was missed. It was the one with my Mom and grandparents! Thank goodness the resort saved the day and we were only 20 minutes late starting (needed some cooling off time!).

Thanks AU... I appreciate that. We have only changed the number of people a limo is picking up- not the time, location, etc. I thought if it was changed on the BEO, you were OK. Was it changed on your BEO or not? If not, I will be sure to remind her.

I would have to include all of that information in the welcome basket. It's the teacher in me that is used to being prepared. I don't think anyone would think that you were doubting their intelligence - in fact, I'd be impressed at your attention to detail during what is presumably a stressful time! Your guests will marvel at the efficiency of your event! Congratulations and try to enjoy the next 3 weeks - take a soak in a hot bath, listen to your favorite music, dance  soak it up!!

DEFINITELY leave it in the welcome baskets!! I sent it ahead and in the welcome baskets and people still were clueless--it is amazing!
