Hello Everyone,

I'm asking for some help for my husband. My family, DH pirate: , DD7 :cheer2: ,DD4 princess: and I :earsgirl: are going down to Disney for our family vacation. We are going to be there over Mother's Day and my Birthday :thumbsup2 . I've been planning this vacation for a couple months looking on the boards and making reservations. Now....I've asked DH to plan for two of the days there....Mothers Day and My Birthday and he needs help. (he's not the planning type you see) and has know clue about all the ins and outs of Disney :sad2: . He needs a list of ideas that he could pick from. So if you have celebrated either of these occasions down at Disney..he would love to hear your stories.

:thanks:

We will be in Disney on Mother's Day too.

Magic Kingdom will have EMH that night...so we made sure to make an ADR inside the park that night. You may want to take that into consideration if you will be at MK for EMH that day.

I had a tough time deciding between Crystal Palace & LTT. Decided to go with LTT because we have never eaten there before.

Hope you have a great Mother's Day in Disney!!

Be sure you go to Epcot on mother's day...as all Mom's get a flower upon entering the park. At various areas of the park there are photographers stationed in the park so that Mom and her family can get a free photo taken. They then mail you the photograph. We are going that day and are going to try the Garden Grill character meal. Then on to park hop at Magic Kingdom!! :cool1:

Thanks for the idea, have you ever attended the Epcot Mother's Day Brunch? We're from Michigan also

Thank you daisyduck123. LTT is one of the restaurants that I have heard about that I wanted to try this trip down to Disney...we might have to do that either on Mothers day or my birthday.

We attended the Mother's Day Brunch our first May living in Orlando (2004). It was okay - but rather pricey. Normally I am okay with pricey for the "experience" - for such things as character meals - CRT, etc. But this just did not do it for me. The food was good, but the venue a huge pavilion - with lots of tables, and severeal food stations. No real ambiance I guess!!!

JMHO - I am sure others will give you thumbs up!
