Mother Daughter WONDERful Cruise Report - August 5 - 10th.

She was still ticked off when we were being scanned back on board. So much so that one of the officers noticed and ask her to step aside with him. Oh boy! This is gonna be good. He pulls her though the medal detector and makes it beep then says, "Yes, exactly what I thought. I need you to come with me." He then pulls her to the side with him takes out the wand detector and beings to scan her body with it. When it gets to her head he made that thing beep as though she were smuggling a VW Bug under her braids! I was about to wet myself laughing. He then says, "Young lady (Maddie looking terrified), you know what that means, (Maddie shaking her head no) that means that you have medal in your head - that is why it's hard!" It beeps again. Maddie is FROZEN in place. "The only way to decrease the size of it is to listen to your mother. Now are you going to listen?" Maddie begins to nod like a bobble head poodle. "Yes sir." Those were her ONLY words.

Those cruise Cast Members absolutely ROCK!

Your daily reports bring back memories of my cruise with my son (3 1/2 then) last September. Fortunately, I rebooked a couple weeks after we got home because he talks about that cruise at least twice a week and has done so ALL YEAR! So I know when we go again this September, he'll be even more excited because he remembers all his favorite parts. And reading your reports is REALLY building my excitement too! Thanks for taking the time to share with all of us!

You will have SO much fun!!!! Enjoy every moment of your trip together I think that is so cool that it's just you two going for the second time!!!

Thank you for giving us such detailed reports! I love reading them! We are leaving in just over 3 weeks for our 7 day cruise. It is our kids first cruise. DW and I went on RCI ourselves. Our DD is 6 like Maddie, and DS is 4. We are going with my parents and sister so there are 7 of us all together. We really cannot wait because it will be a great "total" family vacation.

Thanks again for the great reports! I am hoping my kids click with the CM's as well. They both have quirky, extroverted personalities.

Great report! We have a place at Myrtle and we always find nice people when we go there (well maybe not 100% of the time, but knowing you're there - I'll say ALWAYS). Anyway, we are going in 3 1/2 weeks and can't wait. No children, but hoping for some "magical" moments of my own - seems like being "in and active" seems to work. Glad this trip was all you wanted it to be. As posters have said, you have created memories for your daughter that will last a lifetime - you're great mom! Awesome trip report, Kelly!! I was just able to book the Dolphin encounter for us for our cruise--loved your review--DS7 looooves dolphins and will absolutely flip when he finds out that he can actually HUG one!!

I will get back to writing the trip report tomorrow I promise and to day 4....it's hard to believe that was a week ago. Does it take everyone this long to get settled back into the swing of things or am I just totally overwhelmed right now??

All MADDIE (more sarcasm) can talk about is ...this time last week we were.....fill in the blank mommy. I should get HER to write a trip report for her own journal. We went to visit friends this evening who are having a rough time right now and we had loaded up on Disney goodies to bring them back. It was SO much fun watching those kids faces light up when they saw everything - especially the pillowcases with all the siggies on them! Disney magic reaches a long way doesn't it!!!

Again - thank you SO VERY MUCH for the kind words about my trip report. I sincerely hope that everyone has just as magical of a time as we did on our cruise!!!!!!! You are going to have memories that will stay with you for all of your life, and your children's!!!

Got to go now....must get my hair done, nails haven't been manicured in at least an hour, my chef is off today so I must make a snack for Princess MADDIE before bedtime...my personal trainer is due here any minute for my evening workout and then my massage. Of course Maddie will be rocked to sleep by singing angels. Ya know - the spoiled brats that we are and all.



Get real.

Oh, and - "STUFFY STICKS" - not stick people. Stick people would just be silly - they weren't made of sticks. They were stuffy people who seemed to have sticks stuck....well, you get the picture.
