MB MinnieGirl said:Tink left several things. Most of them I....ummm....I mean Tink found at the Dollar Store.
Princess Pencils
Frisbee
Glow sticks and glow jewelry for the pirate party
Bubbles
One of those rubbery spiky balls
A snorkel set for CC (WATCH OUT - the one I got couldn't be used there)
Pop rocks candy (which is one of her FAVORITES)
Packs of gum
Goggles
I picked up stuff for months anytime I would find something at the $1 store that I thought would work and then I narrowed it down when it came time to pack. Things I left behind will work great for the Tooth Fairy or just as a treat now and then.
I hope your sons have a GREAT TIME!!!
HollyTyler said:Hey Kelly! I had considered doing your great idea of leaving little gifts every day for my son (but his would have been from Pluto or Goofy), but at the last minute decided he doesn't need 7 days worth of new stuff. So I modified your idea slightly. I had bought him a new pirate outfit this past winter because I knew his one from last cruise wouldn't last until this one (which we're currently on) because he wears it a few times a week. I had been planning on giving him the new outfit the night before we left for the cruise. I didn't want him to have it beforehand because he would have worn it out!Well, I ended up sneaking it in the suitcase and when he was in the kids' club the first night, I ran back to the room, laid it out on his bed, and wrote a note to put next to it that said, "Tyler, I hope you have a Magical pirate adventure. AAARRRRGGGGGHHHH! Your friend, Captain Hook." He went ABSOLUTELY NUTS when he saw it and I read the note to him! All week long, he's been telling everybody on the ship how Captain Hook knew he needed a new pirate outfit and snuck into our room to leave it for him! So thanks to reading about your idea Kelly, he's one happy pirate!

It's DS (13 at time of sail) that will give me trouble. But I like your dollar store idea.I also want to pack their carry-ons for the flight with some special surprises. Saw some really cute Disney Princess sets today that would be small enough to take with us. Thanks for the idea!!!!
