We are heading back to WDW for my daughter's 15th birthday celebration. The cast of characters will be myself and DD. Here is a picture she took of us during our February trip
Her birthday is September 3 but we are celebrating during the week of September 22-30. I picked these dates because we lived in a county up until last month that had a week long fall break (which is why we went in Feb this year also). When I saw the dates for the MNSSHP and the beginning of F&W I figured it would be only a few days of school we would miss. Fast forward to June and we moved back to a county where there is no fall break. But we are still going. This is also the reason DS is not going. He failed a class and did not graduate (after the celebration in WDW in Feb) so I decided he would stay home and attend classes and we would go on a mother/son trip in Feb 2012 so he can attend the Daytona 500 again.
So when asked where DD wanted to stay for her trip she replied AKL (we went on a DVC tour in Feb and she fell in love with the place). After I finally stopped laughing at the price we decided together to go back to Pop. This time I anted up the extra money for preferred since DS wouldn't be there to walk that long trek to get our mugs filled. Plus in the two times we have been there we have never been to the hippy dippy pool (it was being refurbished in February). Another thing DD wanted to do after our last trip was the water parks. So that is what we are doing plus an upgrade to the regular dining plan.
We had tickets to go to US/IOA in February since DS was going to the Daytona 500 and we never got to use them as I had to replace the water pump on my car the day before we left for our trip so we will be using those tickets from September 30-October 2. We will be staying at the Hard Rock Hotel for the first time.
I have a lot more to talk about and ADRs to share but my class begins in a few minutes so I will be back soon!
