Motel 6 Maingate, and Toy Story Parking Lot

Couple of quick questions:

1.) I have a friend who booked the Motel 6 Maingate. She says they have a shuttle, but I’m seeing on Motel 6’s site for the property that they have a shuttle for a fee. Is that just ART? And if so, when I look on the ART app, the Disney Way route (which has a Motel 6 stop) doesn’t show up. Is the Disney Way loop still available?

2.) Said friend will be using an ECV. Am I correct that the Toy Story lot shuttles cannot accommodate ECVs?

Tried to get her into a different hotel, but that’s the price point she wants to book.

I dont believe motel 6 has their own shuttle system, Im pretty sure its ART.

I just checked the Yelp page of the Motel 6 Anaheim Maingate and Yelp does mention that there is no free Disneyland shuttle at all but if your friend would like to use the ART bus it will cost her $6 a day. But I would advise your friend to look into other hotels because from the reviews I read about this Motel 6 location the rooms are terrible and people complain of noisy neighbors and the motel having smelly rooms but other than that the only good thing is that checking in and getting a room is very easy

I love the Motel 6 Anaheim Maingate and no issues whatsoever. The Convention center Motel 6 is another story lol.

I have friends who are MK holders and basically only stay here repeatedly so I personally will recommend it still.
Of course everyone has different levels of what is acceptable and YMMV.

I have no experience with ART, but I stayed at the Motel 6 Maingate in October 2022. I found the room to be clean and quiet, but the property itself needed maintenance. One of the stairwells was damaged, and they put boards down over the damaged areas, but no caution tape or anything to alert your attention to the issue. I tripped on the boarded stairs because it was dark and the stairwell wasn’t well lit. I wasn’t injured, but it was disappointing to how poorly maintained the property was. I do think they are a fine budget friendly option, but would advise anyone with mobility issues or small children to be a little extra cautious.
