Celebrating 10th Anniversary at WDW. Which is most romantic restaurant/or outside place to sit at World Showcase? I would love CS and someplace really romantic outside if at all possible. Good food, music playing....great company...let me know your thoughts!

San Angel Inn, in Epcot's Mexico Pavillion is fabulous!

The atmosphere is so romantic, with the mood lighting and sitting next to the "river" inside, makes you believe you are in Mexico.
I highly recommend it for a romantic meal.

I due caution you to check out the menu as it is more traditional food than tex mex style. So just be aware.

If you want a table service, we ate an early dinner at Bistro de Paris once. Oh my, it was such a nice break from the theme park (it's upstairs in France at Epcot). Sooooooo relaxing! Our waiter was a sweet young guy whose wife also works there, and we so enjoyed his service! My kids were treated to such a wonderful meal as well (the bill was way over $400 I'm sure, my loving DH wouldn't let me see it). He and I got some chef menu with wine pairings, and we just had to tell the waiter some little preferences, then he kept bringing out more and more courses. They were tiny, but man were we full at the end!

It was truly a treat, and we must have taken two hours to eat. They did have a children's menu, which was great for my DD who likes more plain food and doesn't eat much meat usually. My son had a beautiful filet of beef and salmon appetizer.

It was August, and so nice to step out of the heat. Just very classy all the way around, and a huge difference from the downstairs restaurant, where we had a horrible experience the year later (we actually left after over two hours and not eating, but that's another story).

I recommend looking into Bistro - but I just looked at the menu on allears.net, and it looks different now. I don't see the chef menu, so am actually not sure if it's gone.

I have always enjoyed San Angel, although it is inside..... It would be my first choice. I've always thought the Rose and Crown pub has beautiful outdoor seating - the inside is not so romantic. I have sat outside and munched on a fruit and cheese plate and sipped wine while we waited for Illuminations to start. It was very romantic! And a great view for the fireworks if you can time it right...... :thumbsup2

Epcot at night is just romantic period! What style food is your favorite?

For us we'd probably grab a Schwarma platter from Tangeriene and then find a bench to eat lake side.

Outside is tough... Rose and Crown outdoor seating on the water is nice, but not exactly romantic. My fiance and I tried Bistro de Paris which definitely has the romance factor, but we were not impressed with the food. I have had better filet mignon at more than 3 other restaurants on Disney property. We both enjoyed Le Chefs de France better for the food and I imagine you could find a romantic spot there - particularly later in the evening. San Angel also has romantic atmosphere but the food is hit or miss.

While we LOVE world showcase, our most romantic meals have been at resort restaurants - particularly Narcoossee's last December. We went a little early for a drink at the bar - bartender was fantastic and then watched both the water parade and wishes during dinner. It was probably the best all around meal we have ever had at Disney.

I agree with San Angel Inn! Yes, it's indoors but it doesn't feel like it. It's lovely and the food is always fantastic!

Bistro is romantic.
San Angel is noisy and crowded, with tables impossibly close to each other.

Romantic and counter service do not go together in my mind...
But if I had to choose, I'd say the Boulangerie Patisserie (until the movie lets out and you're joined by 400 of your closest friends) or Yakitori House. The Patisserie's tables are situated like a sidewalk cafe in the French pavilion. I like the Japanese gardens and you have a view from the Yakitori House.
