most inexpensive airfaire st louis mo to orlando round trip

Anyone got ideas for the best airfare deal from st louis mo to orlando and back? allegiant is flying fo $69 from midamerica/st.louis starting in feb.........anyone else??we don't mind red eyes or lay overs...

I haven't heard of Allegiant, but have had our best luck with Southwest. We managed (twice) to get $59 one way from STL to MCO. This was last January, and then this past May/June.

Can you tell me more about this new airline?

Southwest has always been our best bet as well. Going in Nov for $59 each way. AA has a layover in Chicago.....not good for our family.

I know the other airline just pulled out of mid-America, and I know some folks who are stuck w/tickets now. I wouldn't buy too far in advance if you are flying out of MA.

Where is Mid-America?

The only airport I have used is Lambert.

Never mind - I found it. It is in IL.

go to www.southwest.com and dowload ding - you will get great rates on there.

The major downside to Allegiant is that they're a charter company, so they just don't have the reliablity of a major carrier like Southwest. Plus, getting in and out of the East Terminal is SO easy.

allegiant flies out of midamerica/belleville/st louis. no parking fees, you drive up straight to the curb, unload, you park twenty feet from the terminal, there's only one baggage claim, they do tend to leave late (up to an hour) due to limited staff but it's no frills so that's fine with me. i'm going to fly them unless i find a better deal on southwest, the security at st. louis lambert airport terrifies me and the mid term parking is forever away and you pay $9 a day!!
