Most fun at Christmas

Which do you think is the most fun at Christmas -- decorations and themes and all....

I've actually been fortunate enough to stay at each of those resorts around the Christmas season. I would have to say that the Grand Floridian and the Wilderness Lodge have the best holiday theming, though each resort does a nice job of decorating for the holidays according to its theme. The GF and WL have very impressive trees in their lobbies that really make for a gorgeous display. As far as choosing between the two goes, it's really just personal preference. The GF has a turn of the century Victorian theme, and the holiday decorations go along with that theme (they are in pastel colors and are very elegant). The WL's woodsy national park lodge theme is seen in its holiday decor as well. The huge tree in the lobby has tee-pee ornaments and the holiday light decorations have little chuck wagons in them. To me it's just a matter of which theme you prefer. You can't go wrong either way!

I voted for GF just because of the awesome gingerbread house. But WL is very nice too.

Wilderness Lodge! It is absolutely amazing at Christmas! Your jaw will just drop when you enter the lobby. We will never stay anywhere else at Christmas time again. The GF was really nice, but it didn't wow us at Christmas like the WL did. The whole lodge atmosphere just lends itself so well to that Christmas feeling!

While WL is absolutely my favorite resort at any time -- the BC/YC has some fabulous decorations at Christmas and provides great access to EPCOT with all of it's World Showcase Christmas activities. Add to that character visits and carolers and it is a great place to be.

GF has some great events too. The Poly just doesn't have that Christmas feel to it.
