I just got back yesterday from my solo trip to Pop Century on the free dining plan.

I just wanted to pass along an excellent meal I had at Narcossee's at the Grand Floridian. I ordered the Prince Edward Island Mussels and the Bolied Lobster Dinner and for dessert I had Key Lime Creme Brulee as well as the best decaf coffee on property! The coffee came in one of those press pots, so it was freshly brewed.

The total for the bill (for myself only) was $99.50 which includes tax and gratuity. This makes each of my table service credits worth $50.
Not a bad deal and it was really an excellent meal!!

so they let you use the press pot as your beverage? have been wondering about that since I'm not a soda/juice/tea drinker. i wonder if it's on a restaurant by restaurant basis?

thanks for the info -- sounds like you really got value for your credit and had a great dining experience to boot!

Well I just asked for decaf coffee as my beverage and the waitress brought me this press pot with fresh brewed decaf coffee!!

I know that you can get shakes and other special non alcoholic drinks for your beverage so I can't imagine whay you couldn't get a press pot of coffee.
Actually the only other place that I know of that has press pots is Kona Cafe.
Either place it's really excellent coffee.

Boma also has the press pot. DH drank water with his meal and had the press pot with his dessert.

I am a water drinker (no soda or alchohol) so I used my beverage for decaf cappuccinos as beverages with dinners. never a problem!

sorry to take this thread in a whole different direction than originally intended, but I have to ask since I have never ordered one...was your cappucino something that was made w/Nescafe? is that what most places use to make cappucinos and espresso drinks?

The Capp. I has at Boma was not.
