I know it's Florida and from March to December the mosquitoes are bad. But , every visit I have had at Disney including Fort Wilderness they were never a issue. In my 5 day stay in March the mosquitoes were bad . My daughter got bit up waiting for the boat at the contemporary. Wife got bit up around our camp and I got bit up a few times. We did not sleep in a tent but a RV . ( so nothing sneaking in between any unclosed zippers. Just shocked said something to management at Contemporary and at Fort Wilderness and they acted like I should know better it's Florida ( what one person said to me) I have a public health license in Florida and understand mosquitoes and gnats are hard to eliminate. But if you maintain a plan and stick with it I believe you can control the issue. I was just disappointed I will wear and pack off next visit. I never did before. Just hope this is not one of the budget cuts where they are treating less frequently for mosquitoes now. I know but with the Zika virus and a case just discovered in Orange County this is not a place to skimp. I just am surprised and the places we were bit the most was contemporary and Wildenress Lodge. Which I don't think people pack off to stay at.
