I traveled through the Panama Canal, Costa Rica and Belize this past February. I contacted my local health department to inquire about any immunizations I might need. I was told I didn't have to worry about it but should get an updated tetanus shot. You can check out the CDC's website:

* Mexico, Malaria areas can donate 1 year after leaving the following areas
