Are they spicy or do they have a tomato sauce like Italian meatballs? Do they come over yellow rice?

Thanks:goodvibes

if you're talking about the meatballs served at Tangierine Cafe (Morrocan counter service) No, they are not very spicy...mild lamb flavor, minor amount of spice. Kind of plain tasting, IMO. And no, they are not served in tomato sauce (that would be Italian, lol.) Just kind of in a runny meat "juice", not really a sauce at all.

Yes, they are served with saffron rice...which is very yellow, but just tastes like white rice to me.

Inside restaurant...can't help you there. But I would be surprised if they were much different in there, since both places are Morrocan cuisine.

DH loves the meatballs from Tangierine Cafe, until he found out they are lamb! They are in a red sauce but not a tomato sauce, more like a sweet and sour sauce? And it is served with saffron rice

Thanks very much, this is very helpful! I did not know they were lamb either.
