Anyone else discovered this stuff yet? After hearing about it's anti-frizz, humidity defying properties at places like WDW I decided to give it a whirl. WOW! I love the stuff! Not heavy at all, or greasy like almost everything else I've tried. Smells great too. I am for once excited about actually doing something with my hair on our trip this October...other than a hat.

I have only tried it on wet hair before blow drying, but had no problem with the dryer or the flat-iron I used after.

I have some. I don't use it that often as I adore Love Potion #9 and my spray gel together.

I do use the moroccan oil when I have my hair pulled back whether pony tail, bun, or twist. I use the oil to help keep the frizz flyaways, the baby curls and whatever else tends to stick up. Works miracles for the stick ups!

I started using this stuff a couple of years ago....at first my hair LOVED it, but then it just stopped working for me. :confused3 I think it is because MoroccanOil is full of 'cones and 'cones block out the moisture my curly hair desperately needs.

YES! But, get this. There's an "off" brand at Sally's Beauty called One 'n Only Argan Oil. It's less than $10 and a friend of mine has used both brands and says this stuff is just like the Moroccan Oil.

It's been great for my DD and me. We both have curly, frizzy hair. This stuff works like a dream when we straighten our hair and really helps with the frizzies when we leave it curly.

I've used Moroccan Oil for about two years on my curly/frizzy hair both when I leave it curly and when I straighten it. I've always used it on wet hair but today I went to a new salon and the stylist straightened it for me. He applied it after which is something I've never done before. I've always used Redken glass for that. So far no frizz and it's really humid here. Not sure it's as shiny as when I use glass for the finishing oil.

I also use Argan oil but not Moroccan brand thats only because its full of carcinogenic ingredients.

I bought home 2 types of argon oil from Morocco a few months ago.
Both types are 100% argon.
We watched it being made which was so labor intensive I understand the high price for the real oil.

One type is for cooking & the other is for "beauty".
I gave my best friend the "beauty" oil & uses it on her very thick, course hair & her hair looks beautiful.

I have heard about this. Where can I purchase it? I have been searching for the past few days since someone at work mentioned it and funny that this thread was started!

Thanks!:)

That's the one I bought. :thumbsup2

My hairdresser uses Morroccan Oil at her salon, and I love it. I actually like Chi Oil a little better, and that is what I purchased and use. I really love the scent of the Chi.

When I first got my hair cut short (choppy, layered bob type haircut) I was in tears because the layers looked so frizzy. My friend gave me some chi oil to try and I have been using it ever since.

You can get Chi anywahere. Drugstore, supermarket etc.

I just bought some this weekend and I love it. I have very very curly hair and it took all the frizz away!:love:

I've been using it for years. Love it. I wasn't able to find it anywhere in my vicinity so my mom would ship it from NJ for me. Luckily Beauty Brands started carrying in a few months ago. A little goes a long way.
