Hello :
Need help with our plans , we are going June 10 -June 15, will be going to parks Saturday ( MK) , Sunday (Epcot) and Monday ( HS) , this is our first time going after Genie+ started , we are only planning on using LL for certain rides and go with the flow for the rest . My dilemma now with the crowds is if is better to rope drop or go to the parks after noon ? Have you notice is less crowded in the afternoon? Or is packed the whole day now that everybody is going .
Our last time at the parks was in June 2020 with the pandemic restrictions and it was so peaceful , no lines. But now I am seeing that is crazy crowded everyday . I want to plan my days to be as stress free as possible .

I found this to especially be helpful at HS seeing as a lot of Genie+ times are quickly pushed out into the evening, but I usually go to the parks for early entry/morning and leave in the afternoon for a mid day break. Then I come back in the evening. It won't be no crowds at night but a lot of families with little kids are usually gone at night due to kids getting hot/tired/needing a nap so you can definitely feel the lighter crowds. Afternoons at WDW are IMO kinda miserable due to the high crowds, high waits for everything and it being the hottest part of the day.

We found it really beneficial to have slower mornings and stack LL for MK and DHS in the afternoon.

The parks are busy a good portion of the day so not sure you'll see much difference between morning and afternoon crowds. We didn't find there was a difference when we were there.

You are correct that it will be nothing like the park reopening and the shutdown. Except for the hour after park opening and the hour before park closing, it will be packed every day, every park. That’s just the way it is. The tip to having a stress free day is to set and manage your own expectations. Know how to use genie plus. I recommend watching the All Ears YouTube videos oh how to get the most out of genie plus. Her walkthroughs are amazing. Watch wait times before you arrive and tell yourself you may have to wait in some of those lines. Prepare for how you are going to handle rope dropping Hollywood Studios and which LLs you are going to get first and in which order. Prepare how you will get to the park early and on schedule. Watch videos on how to practice getting that first LL right at 7am. Set your expectations that rides will close and you will have to change your plans on the fly. If you do all of these things, crowd size will no longer matter.

We just got back and found that early entry rope drop for about 2 hours and then we would head back to the resort. Have breakfast, swim, gym, & nap. I would stack the lightening lanes for the late afternoon and evening. We would make ADR’s for around 3:30. We would head back to the parks around 2:00, do a few rides, have an early dinner and ride the rest of the LLs. It avoided the waits and the majority of the heat. The best way we have ever toured!
