Mormons just walked in my door

So I'm on the phone.,at my computer desk.Right next to me is a door that leads to my enclosed front room..It's an add on sort of room with it's own front door.. I hear no knocks(my music was on) and I look up.There are 2 young men standing in my front room.. They are from the Church of Jesus Chrisat of Latter day saints,and they wish to share a message with me about strengthening families..I tell them I'm Jewish so no thinks...I must have looked crazy because there is a 10 foot Christmas tree right behind me.
Teach me to leave my door unlocked

Standing right inside the front door.. I had just unlocked it because my kids get home from school soon.
That's the first time I've had a door to door religious *salesman* here in RI..I got them constantly in California

One day , I will never forget, Johovahs witnesses came to are door on CHRISTMAS... Christmas. Wow I was so mad all I could do is slam the door to restrain myself.

SHould have called the police,LOL..My brother a Captian in the PD here.
They seemed very young,like 18 or so

They had no business just entering your home like that! I would not hesitate to call the church and report them. AFTER I contacted the police, that is.

Edited to Add: I don't care how young they appeared to be. They were taught better than that--if not in their own homes, then when they attended training before going on their missions. I am appalled that these young men thought it was acceptable behavior.

I'm glad it was just a couple mormons and not someone more sinister. You may want to call someone in your local mormon community and rat the kids out. It's just as dangerous for them to walk into your house uninvited as it is for you.

I really like Mormons, they called round one day and were really polite etc. I listened to what they wanted to say and made my decisions based on that

They probably were......it is some part of a requirement that the young men have to go through, go into a community and go door to door. Most of them here ride bicycles or walk. They always have on black pants, white button down shirt and a tie.

I would have gotten their names and reported them to their church. Not good at all! They probably thought you were lying about being Jewish when they saw the Christmas tree (can we all say "holiday tree" ). How funny. Usually missionary's (LDS or not) argue with me when I say I'm Jewish. Guess I don't "look Jewish".

Oh, my. They would so *not* want to do that in my home! That's trespassing, plain and simple, and I would *not* tolerate it regardless of their "message". How dare they enter a private home uninvited!
