More than one room?

I took everyone's advice and booked 2 rooms at CBR. However, they told me on the phone that there is a strong chance that the two rooms will be on opposite ends of the resort, because we are all adults. Has anyone booked two rooms and had this occur? I had them note on the reservation that we would like to at least be in the same area, but the guy seemed like this was unlikey. We really do not want to be at opposite ends. Anyone have any good/bad experiences or any know anything I could do to increase the likelyhood of being near each other?

We had two rooms with two adults in one
and a family of four in the other and requested
connecting rooms and got them.

All I can say is ask for connecting rooms and pray you get them.


Maybe someone else has better advice?

p.s. we had the two rooms under the same name so not sure
if this is why we got our request...

Not even sure why a CM would tell you that....Maybe notify you that not all request are guaranteed, but how does he know where your rooms will be. When you receive your confirmation letter see if your room requested are listed...that is as much as you can do. The CM that imput your reservations has nothing to do with room assignments.

Yes, I have the rooms in one name and I only have one confirmation number for both of them. I plan on sending a room request as well. I guess one of the reasons I am so concerned is because we will not even be able to check in until late, so I figure I get stuck with the leftovers. Thanks for the comments.
