More Rewards City Pass via points to 5 day Pass???

Our Canadian family is planning on going to DL in November.

I'm thinking about purchasing a So Cal CityPass with 36,000 points and $169 through my More Rewards points. I want to upgrade it into either a 5 day pass or an annual pass when I'm there. How much with they credit the CityPass and will it matter that I bought it in Canada?
