A few more odds and ends!

Eurostar tickets - I was planning on printing these at home, is this the best way or would you advise collecting at Ashford. Also on Eurostar will 1 hour be enough time to allow for check in Sun morning? Last on the E'star section, I read on another forum that someone won't travel on E'star because the standard class is so hot and crammed in it makes them and their children sick, not something I'd thought of! Can someone reassure me please?

Is there any particular time that Salon Mickey is particularly busy (or quiet) as there are 5 of us to squeeze in.

Is any day from Monday to Thursday likely to be busier than the others, if so we will use this as our Paris day.

Do I remember reading that there are pool towels at HNY FOC?

Last (for the moment!) can someone tell me what there is on the buffet at Agrabah, DS1 (16) isn't a fussy eater by any means but detests mint (even the smell could make him feel sick when he was younger) and isn't keen on houmous/hummus (sp?) and couscous, nor has he ever been keen on 'junk' food (things in breadcrumbs etc) he does however like vast quantities of food,:lmao: will he find enough to eat?!

Promise I'll go away soon!:rolleyes1

I think Salon Mickey can be hit or miss, we used it everyday on our last trip some day's it was empty other days full to capacity. I'd say before 10am seemed busiest with day visitors waiting for the park to open maybe :confused3

Have you looked at the restaurant thread for Agrabah? there does seem alot of choice, if it's open when we go I'm going on for lunch alone looks yummy :rotfl:

hi

if you look at this thread "WDW Vet's First Trip to DLP for b'day with LOTS of pics " on the trip reports board there are lots of pics in the agrabar resturant

hope that helps

If you are going in term time (French) Wednesday can be busy as primary/junior and senior (up to 13 years old) don't have school on that day. Otherwise Friday and Monday have the arrivals and departures for the 3 day weekend people and Tuesday and Thursady are considered the quietest days

I always travel on Eurostar in 2nd class ,as since the perks of 1st disappeared it's not worth doing it , and I've never found it hotter or crammed then any other train. It's way nicer than a lot of trains in the UK

I've never seen any sick children either, sure you get the odd moaning, whining one but that's so often the parents fault :rotfl:

We've travelled on eurostar many times in both 1st & standard class. We've never had a problem in standard class & theres alot more room on eurostar than standard class on the TGVs in France. Its such a short journey, it goes really quick.

We printed out our tickets in May for eurostar & you scan it when you go through the ticket machine.

We travelled in standard on a Tuesday a couple of weeks ago, no problems at all. Most seats were taken but it was stress free journey. It was great that I was able to print off the train tickets at home and be able to see what carriage and what seats we had been allocated and we just walked through at the station, no messing about. The air con wasn't working on the return journey but they just opened all the carriage inter connected doors to waft the air through and we were given a bottle of water.

We printed ours at home last time and it was very easy, it saved having to collect them from the machine.

I agree that travelling on Eurostar is so much nicer than the majority of UK trains and it's definitely not as crammed as flying! PLUS when the train stops you're there at Disney! :thumbsup2
