Disney Wonder 4 night cruise:

1. Can you choose each restuarant you can eat at, meaning, Animator's Palate, Parrot Cay and Tritons? Or does it rotate, for exampel 1st night we eat at one, second night assigned another? Or do we make reseravtions? I know we make reservations at Palo if desired? Is a polo style shirt considered a collared shirt?

2. My children will be 4 1/2 and 17 months. What is the dress code for the 4 1/2 year old?

3. My mother is a smoker (ug!) so I booked her a Category 7 with a blocked view veranda because I was told she can smoke and I was hoping to limit my dad her 2nd hand smoke (lol). Is this cabin called a Navigators cabin (veranda)?

4. Still trying to decide bewteen October 27 (1 day at sea) and November 17 (Freeport). Any input on the weather (warmth and Freeport) would be appreciated.

5. Is Atlantis worth it?

Thanks in advance for your valuable information.

A partial crack at answering questions...

You are assigned your dining rotation. You do not need to make any reservations on the ship for your regular dining rotation, however i would specifiy with your TA which rotation you want for dinner. A polo shirt is exceptable for dining. That is normally what my husband wears when it is not formal or semi formal dining. You do need to make ressies for Palos.

A CAT 7 is a Navigator's Verandah.

I would say either of your dates, you will have warm weather.

As for Atlantis, I am getting a room at the Comfort Suites next door. The rate is much better, and you are allowed full privileges of use at Atlantis. I sure hope it is worth it, but from all my research, it sure looks like it will be loads of fun.

hope this helps.

you go about booking the room next door? There will be 4 adults, a child and an infant in our party. Do they give you a bracelet or such to enter the Atlantis properties? Is there a limit per room or better deal for Cruise since we will only be there for the day?
Thanks!

there is a room limit of four to a room. Now, I have read some posters mention that this has not been the case, and others that say it is four. I emailed and called comfort suites, and was told both times four is the limit.

go to this link to book the room:

there is no special for cruise passengers. You could do an excursion through the ship, but from what i understand you are not allowed access to the water slides, pools, and other things available at Atlantis.

hope this helps.

If you want to see what a navigators verandah looks like, I have photos on my website at www.castawayclub.com
I wouldn't call it a blocked or obstructed view verandah. It is more of an "enclosed" verandah...very cozy. We've only had one once, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The furniture is stationary on those verandahs.
