More non-campers touting the praises of making fake FW reservations

Posting on the offending thread is akin to peeing against the wind. It's useless. Obviously WDW makes $$$ when someone books a site and pays for a site. It makes FtW profitable in managements' eyes. They could care less if the site is being used, or not. If it's not being used, then neither are the water, sewer, electricity, or comfort stations. So again, why would Disney care?

I'm not saying I agree with what people are doing, and I actually think it's kind of stupid to do this just to get a few extra hours in the park - and....pay $65.00/nite to avoid a $14.00 parking fee?? That is just too stupid even for this moran to comprehend.

What I think would be fun would be if Disney came up with the "Kim Possible Secret EMH Park of the Day" scheme. Every morning beginning at 5am, broadcast only on the resort CaTV channel which park had EMH for that day. Then switch it around on a daily basis so even the guests who actually stay at the resorts don't know which park will have EMH until 5am that morning. Disney wouldn't have to be confrontational at all because anyone who didn't stay on site would not have access to that info.

I should be in management! :rotfl2:

Debbie is exactly right. If these dumbazzes think by paying $65 for a parking pass and some kttw cards let them do it. Just book early when you know your wanting to be there and forget it. Then when you book early these people will have no site.

Funny thing is, if Disney offered EMH to people staying offsite for 8 bucks a head, these same people would be screaming about Disney trying to get money out of them. The attraction is, I believe, the idea they are putting one over on Disney and beating them at their own game.

If Disney wants to take free parking and EMH from Fort people, let them! I feel it is not worth it to me to have those perks. I would give them up any day for a place to get something to eat at the Fort after 10 p.m.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sad but true! I would like to keep the parking but ditch the rest! A food court is a much needed item!

bingo!

I love the post that says WDW built a new pool at The Fort to keep us campers out of The WL pool. :sad1:

I remember having professors in college like Brian Noble. They are now pitiful old men living in their delusional world of academics, still believing they are going to create their ideal society one impressionable mind at a time. Fortunately, most students are bright enough to realize these intellectuals are wrong and go their separate ways. He does have a talent for twisting and distorting ideas so that he is never wrong, and despite his feeling he is an open minded liberal, he is actually totally close minded to any idea which conflicts with his own. I actually pity him. He will never be able to see another's point of view, and the reality is most people are not admiring him, they are merely tolerating him.

We're not doing a very good job of tolerating him!

Yeah, they forgot to mention the moaned so loudly and often to WDW about being on the boat with those "poor camping people who can't afford hotel rooms" that they ended up with their own boat. (Personally I am glad, but I didn't appreciate the comments.)

He reminds me of a professor I had that swore up and down that a particular new way of thinking was the way to go and it was sweeping across education. It didn't matter that these 4th graders couldn't read, spell or talk in an intelligent manner, it was all too important HOW they were taught. I agree with Jim, professors of this type love to spin words to suit themselves. They tell others they are wrong and pat themselves on the back because they are "making the world a better place." It is sad that they have the power to mold young and innocent minds. Hopefully, by the time they get to college, the kids would have a mind of their own, but not all.

Yes, and your post in the other thread about sugar free deserts should be nominated for DIS Post of the Year. That was game, set, match!

And the truly ironic thing that those non-campers don't get, is that us Fiends wouldn't touch a sugar-free desert with a 10 foot pole. :rotfl:
