8) What does Treasure Detector Magic do?
Did you ever have a metal detector and use it at the beach? Sometime you would find coins and jewelry, sometimes cans! TD works the same way that sometimes you find credits and sometimes you find other cool stuff…and yes it’s possible that you could find Inferno!

So I'm guessing the more stars it is the better the odds of getting a better prize. So which brings me to believe that eventually this magic will be released as permanent but to a select few. Because if a 5 star always guarantees a inferno then the value would decrease. Can you say the TD will replace the usual Inferno prize?

Perhaps it just lasts longer, giving the chance to cover the entire room.
I don't think a 5 star would guarantee an Inferno at all. He only said you MIGHT get Inferno, and that more stars give you a chance to find MORE stuff... not neccessarily BETTER stuff.

Nope does nto work, an error message appears saying "One time use magic spells can not be combined". Well that is what ive heard

Treasure Detector magic was available during the Disney Holiday Sweepstakes as a random give code. Was also given out by staff on new year's eve

But not the "real thing", just the 1 use. This doesn't apply yet because you can't even combine them.

Also something to point out ....this info is over a year old.

And we know from expierence that things change from the time they are said to the time they are implemented....so just take it with a grain of salt

Treasure magic in a permanent form may never be released.


I hope it is but I will beleive it when it comes to pass.

I guess I never thought TD would be a permanent pin, but a one time use. If it was permanent, it would have to have a really long recharge I would think.

It would be strange to make it permanent because unlike the other magic pins you can get something with it. Everyone would be walking around the park just using their magic trying to get more credits, other magic, etc... One of the one's I had from the Ebay promotion got me 5,000 credits! That beats every game VMK has. Who would need to play anymore for credits when you can hit the jackpot just walking around.

Well, that is something that was said by staff. That the magic would have a very long recharge time. But, by now, permanent magic may never come to be.

I believe they said that it would recharge in a day, but when yavn first had it when I saw him, at that point it was only an hour. Hope they make both this and flying carpet not only 1 use...

I agree Jewel, I think the one star would probably be like a week maybe 10 days.

I would love to see it be a permanent pin and would pay dearly for one...will it happen... hope so.
