Fortunately I wasn't involved in this scheme.. 
My Brother asked his GF to buy him some Jelly Bellys while she was away. She did so with her father, and they both got the idea to add in flavours that he wouldn't like and make him eat them (e.g. Grape, with the notion of "Who eats Grape?"
). He did so, and didn't make a fuss; just sat there eating Jelly Bellys all night long..
However, he did come in furious at his GF while we were watching Bewitched the film version, complaining of a hot mouth. He had just eat an jalapeño flavoured bean; my brother's GF had no idea that it meant it was a chili pepper!!
