More construction walls @ Animal Kingdom

Some are saying that the walls are unpleasant and it becomes much like walking through tunnels. I'm wondering exactly where the new nighttime show will be? I don't see why the pathways between Africa and Asia would have so much construction. What exactly are they installing that affects the pathways so much? I'm like a few others here in that I appreciate AK for the ambience. Is that still to be found anywhere?

They are installing viewing areas much like world of color.

There are always going to be walls at one park or another. Everything at AK is open except flame tree and pizzafari at the moment. I was just there and the walls didn't bother me.

Pizzafari and Flame tree are closed...those are the only places I eat there! except for sit down Yak and Yeti which I don't always feel like doing. When will they reopen especially Pizzafari?

Pizzafari is supposed to be expanding so they can create a new sit down restaurant as well.

Pizzafari has huge sit down areas now inside at least 2 rooms and also has tables etc outside??????? Are we talking about the same place?

I usually look forward more to sitting for a bit than to food during lunch time. I dislike the idea of getting food and plopping down on the ground. It can be super hard to find a bench or even short wall in AK.

I do appreciate that people can still find the stuff but we might need to make an actual ADR now.

I think PP was mistaken. Pizzafari isn't closed. Disney has announced that they will be adding a table service restaurant onto it, in addition to the current quick service, but no dates have been announced for that yet. MDE shows it's open from 9-5 today.

Yes my bad I think what is closed is part of the seating area actually because of the upcoming work to expand.
