Thanks for the update!

We too just returned and it was a hectic trip. I was hoping to call and catch up with you all in Disney but when we checked into OKW we had problems and had to move resorts. It took us hours to get resettled in a villa in Kidani.

That's okay--I figured you were busy! Sorry you had resort issues and had to move....hopefully, it all worked out in the end. I love Kidani, BTW. Stayed there twice now...hard to leave the room and head to the parks when there is so much to see and do right there at the resort. Love the splash water play area!

Here is some exciting news. I wonder what part of the name they are changing? Are they trying to encompass more types of people, other than "Moms" or are they trying to show that the panel now covers all areas of Disney like Disney Vacation Club or Adventures by Disney?

The Walt Disney World Mom’s Panel Welcomes 15 New Members

Today we welcome 15 of new panelists to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel. But in the near future, look for that name to change! This hugely popular vacation planning website is entering its fifth year and now guests can answer questions not just about Walt Disney World Resort, but Adventures by Disney, Disney Vacation Club and Disney Cruise Line. As of today, Disneyland Resort and runDisney will also have their own specialists. In addition, for the first time guests can ask and receive answers from some of our panelists in Spanish.

Our 15 new panelists join our seasoned alums to form an elite crew of magic makers. Visit them now. They are eager to start spreading their pixie dust.

Has anyone received an invite for this? I got mine today and I've been trying to take the quiz but it's SOOO slow and on Question 12 it kicked me off and made me start all over again Anyone??

I got the invite, and have been trying to get through the quoz, I keep getting knocked back to the start, or it will keep changing the number of answers I got right, or it just freezes...it is completely frustrating

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has had this problem, I just hope it doesn't hurt our chances of joining.

I will say that the BEST gift of all was the instant bond betweem the 15 of us over the course of the 5 days!! It was SO hard to say good-bye to everyone and we are already planning and looking forward to our next get-together.

Did anyone else NOT receive an invitation and feel rather sad about it? Gee Wiz, Mickey, I made Round 2 last year, and no InsidEARS invitation when they sent out something like 1,000? I'm honestly bummed. I checked my junk mail and everything. Nothing.

Nope, but I have read how buggy it is so far, which doesn't surprise me. I imagine it will be testing for a while to clean it up, but it probably takes some folks trying out the quizzes to do that.

I did not and made round 2 this year and have applied every year since its inception. So I've been part of the MMC since its inception. I don't think there is rhyme or reason to who got the invites, because people that haven't applied to the Moms Panel have gotten invites and people that have as well, including those that made it past round 1 and those that haven't. I think maybe it was a random selection? It's only 1,000 people apparently to test. you figure there have been probably 75k or more people apply for Moms Panel over the years, maybe they took a sampling from those and other places? Who knows. I wouldn't feel bad about NOT getting an invite at this point, since it is all in testing right now.

Sure it is a bummer, as a round 2er this year myself, but I figure patience pays off and at some point this might be open to everyone, who knows. I mean, what better way to promote and market WDW for free, than have passionate fans answer questions in a forum like that? It sort of reminds me of the cheap labor thing for the college program. The latest is that this is completely separate from Moms Panel anyhow (and won't affect your eligibility for Moms Panel). AT least that is what they posted on their FB page.
