When I mop my floor, I always get a bunch of yucky hairs stuck to my mop that don't come off. I use just a regular sponge type mop. I always vaccum before I mop too. And in the bathroom, I always use a hand sponge and that always gets all hairy too. Again, even after I vaccum.

Does anyone know of a good mop I could use that won't get hair all caught in it, or isn't so bad. Then maybe I could toss it in the washer/dryer to clean it and get whatever hair is stuck on there, off?

Like microfiber or something... I don't know. Help!

I use a dry swiffer-type cloth after sweepeing, before mopping. It's amazing how much dog hair I collect on the cloth after I swept.

I use an Aveda (sp?) mop. I like it much better than the sponge mop I had. You can take the head off the Aveda and wash in the machine. It is micro fiber and you wring it without touching the water.

I swear by my Swiffer mop. I don't know how I ever got along without it. You replace the pads so you can just throw away those yucky hairs. Also, their bottles of cleaner a little pricey so I just re-use the bottle and mix my own cleaner...works better also with the fraction of the cost.
