of course that was not what this was about, we just happened to be at the right place at the right time. Cuz that's what hotT college chicks do.

GOOG MORNING! ((peeking around))

Are they still out there? That was the srangest posting frenzy I ever read. Sitting right next to each other? NOHotTCollegeChix&WT.

Gotta leave in a few minutes to take DD to ACT testing.

Back later with comments and such. I'm assuming I have plenty o' time since it's Saturday.

See....I'm back from my 1-hour round trip to the testing site since DD did not sign up in time to go to any testing site here in town.

And still....nobody's up.

Hope the BNCG and PJ are having a nice IRL visit over the river and through the woods in Mamacantfindja, IN.

EVERYBODY HAVE A SPECTACULAR SATURDAY!

So the moral of the story is that WT is actually a hotT college chick who just pretends to be a lawyer from St. Louis, a dentist from Atlanta and a podiatrist from Poughkeepsie? :confused3

Good morning Melinda!

The Twinkie family ate outside around the firepit and then roasted marshmallows to make s'mores. Or as Twinkerbell calls them "s'marts". I learned a couple of useful things I thought I would share with the class.:teacher:

Sticks, open flames, and ninja children are a sure combination for increasing the mama's gray hair.

When you are fa...... ar along you can't properly roast a marshmallow while sitting down in a camp chair. The physics of the situation just doesn't allow for a evenly toasted golden brown marshmallow. And if you accidently let it catch on fire you can't blow it out fast enough because you are happered both by the big belly and the fear of setting a small child on fire. Just sayin.

Y'all are pretty steenkin hilarious!
Glad every one had fun!

Twinkie, your campfire suggestions were very helpful.

I can't believe how much I missed Jeanie. I think I pretend like I don't miss her when she's not here - and now that she is - I almost start crying all the time.

I have issues.

We're supossed to meet Ben and his lateest lady later today. I hope this lady works out. Cuz she's got class and a little boy.
we're all going to pumopkinfest - which is a street festival in Franklin.

Celery - There is a built in desk top in the hall area between their bedrooms and bathroom that we use for school. That is also where the computer is. I can lay everything out on the desk and it won't be bothered. They are goog kids.

Marita - I wasn't discounting your presence. Just that in all the hours since my last post only one person had posted!

We went to the library again. The 2 Tree House books Jeremiah got were finished the day after we got them. He has also read the book I got him on Thomas Edison, but wouldn't return it because he wants to read it again. I told him when he's read the books and it cools off we'll take him to see his(Thomas Edison's) house and museum. If it ever cools off. Chad has also been into reading books about people in war. He just read The Lone Survivor and now he is trying to live vicariously through our service men. I'm just glad he's reading. But it gets annoying when he interrupts me a million times a day to tell me something in the book. I doubt he'd be so happy to hear what was going on in my Red River of The North books. ;)

We are leaving soon for my parents. But first I need a tums.

Have a good weekend!

Hello everyone.......just finished reading the last four pages........you guys sound like you had alot of fun in your posting frenzy........I love to read it....

Now LilG......I am not a martha person......if I was I would of had a pie baked before putting in the turkey....but just stuffed that back end of the turkey and shoved it in the oven.......then waited from twelve noonish to fiveish......it was very good........I then commenced on turning that sucker over and getting the tenderloins and I ATE THEM......picked the turkey but threw out those legs...we hate legs.......

Hubby and our son are out hunting and I said I think not.....it is pouring and I am afraid of a tick.......hubbys boo boo is still red and they said that they cant do anything for 6-8 weeks to check for lyme disease......this was a definite deer tick that i removed from him...gives me the heebie jeebies just thinking of it..

I copied your H&V corn thingie ......that is hubbies favorite when we eat there.....so hope I can try it soon....

Here is something for you sewers (that looks like sewer).....a person that used the sewing machines.......please read
Go to Kohls and or someplace else and get a good feeling and pretty place mat......pick up some cord that would be pretty for a handle and some velcro too..
Fold the placemat inside out and in half........sew down the sides and then at the bottom kitty corner ......on the top put one cord and sew it in place and then the other side.......then put on some velcro......and stitch it too.......voila you have a pretty little holding bag.........my neighbor made some for each season and they are adorable.....

I take calcium for this, it works! I used to get wicked charlie-horses in the arch of my foot or a calf or NECK :scared: ...whenever I don't take calcium for a few days, I get cramps again. Hope this helps (useful).

Thanks! I am going to go seek some OS-Cal and seeif I can find a potassium thingy too.

We never have bananas. Oh I buy them, by they disappear at the speed of light around here. I can't drink OJ, the acid tears up my reflux. I have whole list of things that I no longer eat or drink:

Tomatoes are a no-no, but I do eat a few here and there.
Broccoli or Cauliflower
Beans
Bell Peppers
Raw onions
Citrus
Soda also a no-no that I drink a little here and there right along with the next no-no: alcohol
:sad2:

Anyway, I am taking my Brownies on an outing this evening at the GS Camp. It'll be lots of fun.

:yay:

Steph-- I live on soda....is it because of the reflux thing. Brownies sound yummy. I haven't baked in awhile. Hubby has been asking for pie.

I never got back on last night.

I have been caught up in a book my sister gave me called I Know This Much Is True by Wally Lamb. It is an Oprah pick.

Then this morning we had our family photo taken for our Christmas cards. We do this every year. We pick them up on Nov.8. Good thing none of us work an office because there was a lot of grumbling this morning about dressing up so early in the morning and it wasn't coming from Hannah or I. The colour theme this year is red and black. Shopping at the mall in good clothes is not fun either.....we had the pictures done at Sears.

Oh. My. Gosh!!!!! I didn't even notice!! But I THINK I just heard a cow calling my name....PPPPPPJJJJJJJJJJJJJJ
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: It wasn't me!!!

PJ said:
And also....MOOOO HOOOTY to you too, bbn! 13,700!!!! :cool1:
that's too many.
MOO HOOOOO, bbn! And Peej.

Welllll, we don't like to brag, but our posting skillz are unmatched. Hence, between us we have over 20,000 posts. heh
LOVED reading your little late night post fest  You too, WT!

:woohoo: :yay: :dance3: You snagged the 8000th post PJ!!!:woohoo: :yay: :dance3:
COOL!!!

I can just picture this, Twink ;)

Melinda, thanks for PM regarding the Photopass photos

Nabbie, hope the family photos turn out great!

Steph, hope you have nice weather for your outing tonight - it is pretty rainy in my neck of the woods, but I managed to get out to a couple craft shows this afternoon and drove through the carwash to get the mud from going to one of the shows (at the fairgrounds) off my car. I got a cute collar for Sukie with pretty yarn attached to it. Hard to describe.

Pumba, glad your turkey turned out well. I made some spaghetti and (Schwan's) meatballs for an early dinner/supper.

Hi, Marita! Sorry again to be a party pooper last night.

Hi, Cel! Sounds like you had a great time with Jeanie :yay: Hope Tammy is feeling better today.

I'm watching Halloween on Ice with music by Mannheim Steamroller. Pretty cute!

This surgery has really kicked my butt. At the very start, the doctor told me I'd only be off the Thursday of my surgery and then Friday. Then I'd have the weekend to recuperate and could return to work on Monday. On Monday morning, my ear started hurting like something was stabbing it. Amber went to work and I was here by myself. I called the doctor's office crying and they told me it was just the muscle. They said to call back around 2 if I was still hurting and ask to speak directly to the nurse and she'd order me some Valium to relax. At one, I called again crying. I'm serious you all, the pain was BAD. (and for the record, I'm not one who can stand a lot of pain.) She called some Valium in to my pharmacy, Amber picked it up on her way home from work, and I was off the rest of the week. I went in on Friday for my follow up, and have a mild infection in my ear (it really is disfigured right now) and was put off for another week. Today was my first real outing and I got to hurting so bad that I made Amber leave the Pumpkinfest early. Tommorow we have nursery duty at church and a potluck (It's our Church's 11th Anniversary). I'm hoping I can make it okay. If worse comes to worse, I'll go hole up in the nursery and nap for a bit.

Needless to say my job is really being buttheads about this. I have several visits that I've not been able to complete, so now they have to have someone else cover them. And they have to send me my database so that I can complete my notes to have them turned in on time (by the 5th-wish is my return to work date). I'm so fed up with this treatment that I'm looking for a new job. You all keep me in your thoughts!

Tammy - Consider some extra strong healing thoughts to have been sent :grouphug:

Looks like another quiet night.

I just went to the store. Man, it's getting cold out there.

Just because I was reading backwards trying to find out everything Cel was saying about our girl...I caught this interchange between Babynurse and PJ---whom I'm assuming are sisters????

Anyway...having driven through Louisville many times to go to northern IN...I'm going to say.... No matter how short your attention span is...you cannot miss when you cross the bridge into IN. IT's forever. Now I've got to say....I hope she made it safely to wherever she was going.

Now....for a cute story...Cel and Jeanie have taken a kitchen chair and a TV tray and a blanket and made a tent in the living room. Jeanie crawls out and says boo and goes back into hiding. then she peeks out a side to see if Cel is watching her....and then she runs to cel who picks her up and loves on her. These two are having so much fun. I wish I could join in. I'm miserable...my ear hurts...is bleeding...my Valium from earlier hasn't worn off...I need to go take my normal meds, Lortab and antibiotic. Then I want to go to sleep.

Night all. I'll try to converse more...maybe I can get a job where they won't mind if I'm online for fun....like Cel's job.

Tammy, :grouphug: Work can be crappy sometimes. I so much want to ditch it at irmes myself, but I am too old to start over. Sometimes you have to just hang in there, but f you can get a better job, go for it!

Moo,I wore a short sleeved shirt to work yesterday, and it was quite cool with the wind blowing. I has been a nasty weekend, cloudy and rainy. I am still waiting for the beautiful clear blue skies with sunny weather and 80 degrees we are supposed to have this time of year. No luck so far.

High of 51 degrees here tomorrow, Marita! Hope you get your blue sky back. It cleared up for about 5 minutes today.

I need to find some long-sleeved shirts to wear to work. My short-sleeved sweaters just aren't cutting it.

Tammy, sounds like Cel and Jeanine are having lots of fun together. Get feeling better soon.

Moo, stay warm!

Nicole's team won all of their Lacrosse games today (3) and going to to playoffs tomorrow. They played in muddy fields in the rain in Virginia, I forgot if I posted that or not. She will be home sometime on Monday.

Anyway, bedtime for me. Nighty Night!!!!!!!!!

GOOG MORNING! :sunny:

Well....boring day here yesterday. DH took DS to work with him so it was just me as DD's were in/out.

I did make the one-hour round trip to pick up DD at her ACT yesterday....which she "owned" except for the science portion she says. This is her one/only try at the ACT because its time to apply for college.

Apparently now you can retake it as many times as you can pay for it and just take the highest score. DDs best friend took it for the 6th time yesterday! (This girl's brother is at Princeton and sister is at Vassar so I think she must be trying to get into some comparable, far-away school. Which will leave DD :sad1:)

Stouffer's lasagna, bread stix, salad, and cake for lunch at church today....easy!

Twinkie....I love the "smarts". So cute. Gray hair situations only increase as they get older. Invest in hair color and a goog consultant. (Wendy)

Pumba....My mother made lots of those placemat purses too! I have some really cute velvetty ones for winter and some nice linen ones for summer. You can also use hard plastic handles from Hobby Lobby.

Celery & Tammy.....I'm so glad you guys are having fun with Jeannie. Cel...I almost cried that you cried. So sweet. Tammy...what is the dr's excuse for the continued pain and bleeding in your ear?? Did he botch the surgery?? Can you get a second opinion. Good luck on the job! Are you a social worker?

NAB....I don't think Javamom is gonna eat her brownies! At least I hope not! :lmao: RE: heavy cream....surprisingly enough...I don't keep it around it the house but only buy it especially for recipes. I KNOW! Hard to believe!

MommyP
....That Jeremiah is a genius! Or maybe it's that good teacher he has! Glad he is enjoying his reading. Have you tried the Time Warp Trio? That series came out after my girls were at that reading level but it looks like a good series. It's by Jon Scieszka who wrote the Stinky Cheese Man....I love that book. DS loves to be read to just not to read on his own.

Moo....Hope we get the CD soon! :thumbsup2 I think you and Mr. Moo should make one into your Christmas card!

Marita.
...Good for DD on the Lacrosse! :woohoo:

HotT College Chix....Hope you are having a great IRL visit! I wondered if I should've added some :rotfl2: :lmao: :happytv: to my post yesterday?! I always forget to do that. Cuz I found your posts quite funny!

WT....Are you always out there lurking?

Hope everyone who didn't check in yesterday had a wonderful, fun, productive day!

HAVE A SPLENDID SUNDAY!

"And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." --Micah 6:8
