Okay it was just me not reading right. Hubby's dad was teacher and I was scared to death to meet him because hubby used big words when we were dating so I thought I was doomed meeting his family and would need a dictionary to keep up with them. :lmao:

Hi, E! Your pg at the fair story was a hoot! :lmao:

Cel, I posted on your trippie. Go look. Was I right?

Glad to hear Tammy is doing better today.

Oh for goodness sakes. You love everybody in the entire Country Music Assoc. We got it. A little less sunshine, a little more snark please.

Speaking of pilgrims, there is a roller coaster called The Voyage. It's in Thanksgiving land at Holiday World/Splashin Safari. I bet if you rode that, it would send you into labor, Twink.

DTD: I can't recall, did you say you rode that or not on your last trip?
This is the end of my 'trippie' to Holidayworld.

Then I make a fateful decision. I will ride The Voyage. This is a wooden rollercoaster themed to the Pilgrim's trip across the Atlantic. This trip seemed as perilous. Be glad Mr. D invented steel tube tracks. Oh my gosh. Remember, I'm alone because of fat er Pooh sized darryl has more sense than me. Will I survive? More next time.

Alas, I did not.

Ummmm... cheesecake?:confused3 That is what my mom swears by. But thank you and you Ms. Lurker Pants ;) for the helpful information.

I think I will respond well to induction. In the past I have always had my water break AND then contractions start afterwards whereupon things happened pretty fast.
I spent Sunday evening and all day AMonday with my niece who is at 36 weeks. We went to Kroger(non-ghetto) Monday night and she shopped like a pregnant lady. She bought doughnuts, a struesel, some fruit thingies and A CHEESECAKE. Also diet sodas. I now feel guilty about eating a piece. Her blood pressure is way up and they are talking about inducing this week. I just left her a message to eat the whole dang thing.
I had to work early yesterday and came home and fell right asleep. Then this morning I meant to post, but got to answering posts on my trippie and Beulah the Buzzer told me time had run out. I promised to get another installment by tomorrow night.:scared1:
Melinda- Was it your bil that worked for old Ern? Bad for him, but (I hope) goog for the rest of the state. Although I'm pretty sure they're all lying bums.:rolleyes1
Until next time, See y'all.

What was up with that lady? What did she care if I delivered right there in front of the entire state of Kentucky? She could have just turned her head. lol

That was a nice post there, babynurse. Made tons of sense. I'm sure you edited it by now, but how was that for snark? You want snark, I'll snark.

Oh no, DTD, we hardly knew you!!

wimp. I was just heading toward loopy too.

Last country music comment (maybe) I really do love KENNY CHESNEY

1. How about pink camoflage?
:rotfl2:

2. Duly noted. I will text myself so I will remember when I go to the library.

How about legos? :scared:

1. Now yer talkin! :rotfl:

2. Another series I like is the Alex Delaware novels by Jonathan Kellerman. Main character is a clinicial psychologist who consults for the LAPD. His best friend is a schlumpfy detective. The cases they work on together are great to follow, plus the friendship between the 2 characters is a nice bonus. That's another series with at least a dozen books. The first in the series is When the Bough Breaks.

Legos are rough on the soles of one's feet. Pokemon figures are also no day at the beach.

I had infinite Polly Pockets growing up. And American Girl dolls. But why are the Polly Pockets so big now??? Doesn't that totally defeat the purpose?? The little boy I babysit for has tons of Polly Pockets (that's another story) and I don't understand why they're no longer pocket sized.

Perhaps we should set up a play date for you and my DD? She loves AG dolls too. If you're nice, she might even let you use her Easy Bake Oven.

Amen, sistah!!!!!!!

Although I like Brad Paisley a LOT, I do have to admit he was a bit off-key . Alison Kraus was great (as usual). Sara Evans is a bit stiff as host, but she's doing a pretty good job overall, I'd say. Or at least that's what I'd say if I was the type of person who offered an opinion on things..........:rolleyes1

Holla, BigL.
1. Can we skip the Easy Bake Oven? I don't have the patience for that. All of my American Girl Dolls and their stuff is in boxes in my mom's basement. :sad1: Maybe I can get them out for the play date though.

2. Dare I ask your opinion on Kenny Chesney?

Great description DTD. I know exactly what that means. I really shouldn't be allowed to grocery shop these days. I hope everything goes well for her. My mom called to tell me that cheesecake is on sale at Aldis.

PJ- I will answer your questions tomorrow. However the key issues are : while the teacher may be size hotT, not all of us fit in a kindergarten sized chair, especially when you are sized maternitT cause the belly doesn't squish.
And I love the the little notes home that ask me questions like what I want to discuss at the conference. HOWEVER, I have yet to have a teacher actually refer to my answers in conference. :confused3

1. Ok. At your request, we'll shelve the Easy Bake Oven. Happy? But I don't think the girl will fold on the AG doll issue. She's a good girl, but she has her standards, dangit. Drag 'em outta Mom's basement. And make sure they're clean...my DD does not tolerate messy dolls.

2. Love me some Kenny. Also love me some Josh Turner. Oh, that voice....

ETA: ...and some Toby, and some Rascal Flatts, and some Dierks, and...well, you get the idea, dontcha?

BTW, I will also answer your questions tomorrow. If you're still interested then. 'kay?

Don't worry about it, I will just use your key issues. I know you're probably not in the mood to humor a hotT college chick and her annoying questions.

1. I will be more than happy to get the dolls out. And they will be sparkling. I just have issues with that oven.

2. Finally someone I'm allowed to discuss hotT country singers with! Obviously Kenny is number 1. But I like Rodney Atkins, Keith Urban, Dierks, Brad, okay, I'll stop. Kenny better take entertainer of the year....

3. You, however, still have to answer my questions. hee hee hee
Not really. But I would appreciate it.
