woot, woot...rooting for backstage's son. , that's
already a great accomplishment....

......i'm trying to catch up...if ever. ....

2 ~ days...& at christmas....so i wasn't expecting anything much or special.
boy was i wrong!

....followup..from the mothers of the msu band...expressed their intent
writing to disney guest communications. i attended their "show"..cos of your
dedication , moo. * glad i did....they put on a great show....& it was
a fun encounter. & yes, the one mother..did take pics...for me!


...[ this was suppposed to have been a "warm - up] for our august pc,
cruise next year. instead....it was "one" of the most educational trip we
ever done.

* crowded..its christmas....but i was surprised....that we never had any
major problems. "pain & panic"..are the 2 rowdy /goofy characters from
the hercules show..dcl, which is our favorite! however, our oldest son
had an big toe problem...so we were even slower than normal.

i'm fighting a sinus infection...that making me drag even worst before...
sooooooo i got to go to work..to rest, ! has been, boy do i
feel over the hill.....so if i seem out of sync....that's because iam !

..p.s., our plans..going in...were for epcot, and animal k.,...however,
we ended up "hitting" all the parks....secondary to a lil' magic. over
and over, i can't stressed how much magic....can be had.....from
the unlikely sources...encounters from/with the other guests. [ it
pays...dividends...].

i saw on the wdw board...where others had a tuff time..with the
buses...it so ironic....that on christmas....day, i ended up on a bus back
with just me & the driver. yep, christmas night!

Back from my one MUST DO chore for the weekend: Getting Nails done!

Of course I messed one up by leaving to soon and touching something or other


The owner was sitting there reading, and I said I need a fill. He called over the girl that takes FOREVER! I sucked up hurting her feelings and said I need a quick fill. SO the owner did it

When it comes to pedicures, they can take all the time they want, I can read, do puzzles, get a foot and leg massage, all lovely. But manicures are plain BORING! Nothing you can do but sit there!

I was thinking of making the egg, ham cheese sammy tonight (Lexi, you are right, it does sound a McMuffin, LOL, although the original version had a different cheese, but since I dont know what it was, this is it)
Anyhow, DH made a frozen deep dish pizza with exra mushrooms added. So I think I wil heat some later for dinner and add some extra cheese, and broil a bit.

Melinda, I LOVE your new 'do! Soooooo pretty! (And I think this is my first glance at your face without a glow-cube beverage blocking part of it. Heh.) Is it an inverted bob (like we talked about in chat waaaaay before the holidays)? I cut mine that way before Thanksgiving, but it's not really drastic. Next time I get it cut, I'm going to have her make the angle more dramatic.

Oh, and lest I forget...I also enjoy your cheerful morning posts. Even though, like Moo, I never get a chance to read them until hours later.

Marita, did you get Christmas put away? I haven't taken everything down, but I managed to undress the tree while DD had a friend over to play. DS actually helped me...he said he felt bad that I had to do all that work by myself when everyone in the family enjoyed the Christmas decorations. Such a sweet boy, that one! Speaking of sons....YAY for yours! You are proud with very good reason! Congrats to him!

Monica, glad your son is better. Renewed sibling bickering is always a sign of recovery!

Hmm.....I was hoping for a Grasshopper update too. Continued prayers for Gabriel (and Twinkie).

Hi Lynette!
I got Christmas partially put away. But I cant find the box to put it in in the garage! (why do we have 4 big bottles of cooking oil in there anyway?)

I got a small box and put away garland and stockings and some smaller things. I broke the foot of a very fancy Santa DH bought this year. But I put him in the box too with a broken foot. We can glue him next year!

DH also bought a very fancy and tall angel. And I have a tall nutcracker. Without the big box, I cant put them away. So they are sitting on the fireplace mantle for now.

I think I will dismantle the ornaments from the tree in a bit and put them in plastic bags, to be put into the big box tomorrow. That's all I got in me for today!

someone thought I was from KS, had to change locations fast!!

I brought the boxes upstairs!! I have a large Angel, that didnt fit in the room - she is about 3FT tall - she stands because of a 'cone shaped plastic form" it fits perfectly on top of the vacuum cleaner - kinda nice hiding that vacuum - esp since I use it 2 - 3 times a day picking up needles!!

in 7 days - I will be sitting at Cape May Cafe, or walking back to our room about now!! DH didnt like my transportation solution... um he's the one that made the plane itinerary!! (of course its not his fault we are now a one car family!! Darn this trip making me feel so guilty!!)

Sounds like lots of progress with deChristmasifying is being made today (but not by me)! It is on my agenda for tomorrow. I have just been relaxing all day between laundry. DH picked up a few groceries and brought pizza home for dinner

Did you decide to join their Photopass group? I'm still undecided as to whether we will do that or not? You experienced DISERS out there, what is your opinion about PhotoPass? Course I just spent the money I was gonna spend on the cd, on new shoes today.

Allie YOU should definately join her photopass group!! We joined one for Sept - and I love the pictures - priceless!!

Just make sure, every park you go into, you take the time to get a picture with you and DD - dont lose your photopass card - you can get one the first park you go in, you'll see the people with cameras!! At MK ask if you can have Tink added to the pic!! (it takes a moment, but we LOVE that picture!) Also at MK - go over the bridge by the castle to tomorrowland, and there is another photopass photographer - get another picture!!

On Test Track in EPCOT (the only ride btw that's set for this) get off the ride, race down, have your photo pass card at the ready - and insert your card into your picture frame!!

Then when you get home. WAIT - do NOT upload your pictures files - wait till you get an email from her with her info - then go to her site, and add your photo pass numbers - and edit - this will take a long time!!

Make sure you get about 20 pictures!! BUT since its just you and dd, and its such an awesome memory - go for it!!

I tagged onto Melinda's Photopass CD because I just had a few photos. Thanks, Melinda!!! If just you and your DD are going, it will be a great way to get shots of you together.

On the other hand, comfy shoes are a must and lots of people will take photos of you together if you ask . . . I will often offer to take a family's photo and ask if they would please take mine too.

Just got back from the in laws. It seemed really funny walking into a house that is still a Christmas wonderland when our is all gone. Then kids were of course all in there glory with another Christmas.

Nicholas wanted the Canadian version of Monopoly so that is what the guys played most of the day. And Hannah got the Holiday Barbie that barely leave her hands.

When we got home there was a message on my phone, the lady I hit yesterday day. I was hoping the paper blow away.... I will have hubby call tomorrow.

Marita--- Congrats to you and your son. He must be so happy. Have you started a scrap book with the article. You broke Santa's foot....does hubby know? You have lots of time to take the tree down.

Moo- glad your headache went away.

UMA-- it is quite mild here and raining too. It snowed all day at the in laws though they are more north then us.

I was hoping for an update on Gab. I will be praying some more for you and your family and will light a candle tomorrow at church for you.
