Just checking in before I head out to the in-laws. It is Christmas all over....:rotfl: Just like the movie Ground Hog Day (?) with Bill Murray.

I was hoping to hear about Grasshopper, hope he had a good night. :grouphug:

Wheat Thins-- you were always nice, you are just letting us see it more in your posts.

Pumba- We are already at 28 and they are calling for rain too.

Lexi-- I second what W.T's said about looking forward to your post every morning. I am going to try that egg on a bread thing, that will in press hubby since I am just a plain jane cook. :lmao:

Sandy-- Only 4 more sleeps.....

Marita-- I am sure you don't have the cleaning disease. But you came pretty close :rotfl2:

Good Morning. Busy, busy here today. We are having an 80th bday party for my gma, and then we're supposed to go to some friends of ours tonight for pizza and cards.

Extra prayers to Gabriel.

Have a nice weekend to the rest of the Moovers!

Morning y'all.
I'll third or fourth the movement that Lex's morning posts are a highlight of my day! :lovestruc

And I'll spread the warm fuzzies and say WT is an alright guy. When he's not hating me. ;)

and Christmas again. Nab? Geez. I'd be worn out!

more prayers sent for Gabriel.
We love you, Twink.

:grouphug:

pumba - I'm laughing about megara sitting on you. hehehehe.
at least riley is only 18 pounds.

hi to everyone else!
Thanks for making my Saturday full of love and friendship.
I love you guys!:flower3:

Good morning, Friends!

I will 5th the Lexi morning post fan thread!

Cheddar cheese soup sounds good, but way too much cooking (read "work") for my liking!

Sandy, don't worry, I did NOT do the christmas cleanup last night. I employed my tried and true method of sitting quietly on the couch till the urge passed ;)

I HAVE to get nails done today, no choice, they are closed tomorrow. I hate it, it's so boring...... Hope I don't get someone that takes 1 1/2 hours :scared1:

Other things on my exciting weekend list:
Finally actually DO put Christmas away
:laundy:
Grocery shopping
Some work work
Take a nap

Exciting stuff, that!!!

Have a great day, everyone!

More prayers for Grasshopper and Matt

MommyP- What were you, 12, when you had your first one. You look young enough to be id'ed. And Isaac Thomas is certainly a handsome young feller.

I was 19 when I had my first. We married when I was 18. Young, yes. But it works for us. I am only 26. However, I normally don't get ID'd. Especially when I have all the kids with me. :rotfl:

Twinkie - I am so sorry to hear about Grasshopper! I hope he is getting better. Poor baby! And poor Mama!! I will be praying for you!!

We are doing well. I am tired and having a little baby blues. Nothing to worry about at all. I am thankful that Chad will be home with me again next week. I am feeling very overwhelmed and like I am moving in slow motion. I basically just don't want to be around the older boys(the 3 older ones) and only around Kaleb and Isaac. The other boys are just really annoying me. But I realize my hormones are going crazy right now and it will pass with more sleep. :lmao:

He did sleep a little better last night, in his OWN bed. He is a really sweet and goog baby though. Never cries for no reason, just has his days and nights confused.

I need to go and feed him now. I'm trying to keep him on like a 2 hour eating schedule during the day so if by chance he goes longer at night he is getting plenty.

Have a goog weekend!

MommyP, I hear you on the hormones and annoying older boys, LOL!

Is Chad working out of town again? Glad baby Isaac is doing well!

And I noticed that your siggie pic has been replaced by :laundy: :rotfl:

mommyp - glad you're doing good. Make the older boys go to the new house and clean the lot! ;)
Get your brother to take them -
you and Chad stay home with the two youngest.
Heh.
Sounds like a good plan to me!

Marita - I wish you'd find someone who could do your nails fast!

Matts back to fighting with his brother and arguing with us, so alls goog.

Mommy worries down to defcon 1.

My son just called to say the AF finally posted the official selection for officers on their website:

1/4/2008 - RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- One hundred seventy one men and women from across America have earned an opportunity to become Air Force leaders following their selection for an officer's commission, officials here announced today.

As part of the selection process, board members review both objective and subjective factors. Objectively, the board considers each applicant's academic discipline, grade point average and Air Force Officer Qualifying Test scores. Subjectively, board members evaluate work experience, accomplishments, adaptability, character, leadership ability, potential for future growth and other recommendations. For active-duty enlisted members, the board also evaluates performance reports and commander's recommendations.

Five Air Force colonels review every application. The selection process is similar to an Air Force officer promotion board. No single factor leads to an individual's selection or non-selection, according to OTS selection officials.

People selected can expect class assignment information approximately eight weeks after their commissioning physical is certified.

And YES, DS's name was there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So it is official!!

Now he just has to pass a flight physical, hopefully that will go well, since he already had a long one as part of the application process.

You're right Marita, lots of work, but yummy - good as leftovers too - but alas, it has far too many calories...

Monica Defcon1 - too true tho isnt it?

Cel what are you up to?

Nab goog fun at the inlaws!!

MommyP just a goog day at home!! Glad everything is settling into a routine for you!! Gotta luv those babies...

I went to Ballys - yuck... oh I forgot to blog about the vertigo striking me!! Now its 12:30, dd wants to spend her $100 on carp - DS game, and clothes for webkins - clothes? :sad2:

I NEED to start dismantling the trees, to completely overhaul my ornaments, clean it up, clean it out!!

MommyP- totally know baby blues and annoying older siblings. I remember just wanting to bundle up all my baby gear and go to a hotel! I needed peace and quiet. It passes as you know. Stupid hormones!

It's snowing faster than we ("We"as in not me) can shovel! So I kinda have cabin fever and am watching infomercials. My guilty pleasure. I love how they "sell" stuff! Mind you, the only thing I've bought off the TV would be Bare Minerals makeup..totally good deal too. I just am fascinated in useless crap I don't need.

Sandy- did Bally's lay it on thick? I'm sure their free membership isn't so free. Just wondering the details and how your were treated...like a queen to sign up?

Goog afternoon, Moopies. I slept WAY in today trying to get rid of the dregs of my migraine. I feel much better today.

I'm also continuing to send prayers out to the Twinkie Family :grouphug:

Mimi was 344 pages into Eclipse and there were 30 pages missing from her book!!!! I KNOW! She took it back to Target last night to get a new one!

ANNOUNCEMENT: (uh hemmm)
I just did a spell check and ran across Merriam-Webster "Word of the Year" for 2007 and the word is:

1. w00t (interjection)
expressing joy (it could be after a triumph, or for no reason at all); similar in use to the word "yay" Example: w00t! I won the contest! (I personally think it is a cheap knock off of woo-hooty)

Running a very close second (I'm sure) is....facebook (verb)!!! HAHAHA! So lets all facebook each other with no shame. It IS a word.
Oh, that is SO maddening to have pages missing from your book :headache: Glad she was able to get it replaced!

Did you all know there is a Web site called woot.com? The have a new deal there every day. StepMIL procured some MP3 players for her graddaughters through there on Thanksgiving thanks to my DH. Super cheap!

Facebook you?! I love it!!!

And I will fifth or sixth or whatever how much I love your cheery morning posts (even though I never read them until WAY later)!

Hang in there, Amanda  You have lots of support here! Glad Isaac is being such a good boy. I second Cel's suggestion about occupying the older boys!

Matts back to fighting with his brother and arguing with us, so alls goog.

Mommy worries down to defcon 1.
:yay: Yay!!!!! That is a relief to hear.

Lil G, sounds like you had fun chatting with the MSUMama! That is shocking that they wouldn't have wanted the band to perform without playing. I love seeing and hearing college marching bands. I'm not really sure . . . but maybe they charge all performing band members like that? :confused3 I think they give them food vouchers for the day. I'll have to ask my friend whose DD went on a band trip to Disney.

I am having a bum-laying day. Trying to get the house picked up between DISing.

WOOT WOOT Marita's DS!!

Moo Glad your migraine is gone!! woot.com is a college popular site - there are 2 of them, stoots, stuts, stuff... I dont know its on the other laptop!! lol ds wanted a box of stuff - he thought for sure he'd hit it big!! He talked about it for weeks, he never mentioned that he got it!!! Their website has a forum, and you read there, and they make you believe you want to belong to the club!! Poor kid. DS #1 just really hasnt found a place he really belongs in, he was missing hockey - said he just misses hitting and being hit!!

DD is wanting me to drive to the mall!!

Thanks, Sandy!

YuK on driving to the mall. I hate shopping (but then, everyone already knows that)

I just counted the number of females listed on that list (hoping DS could find a G/F somewhere there)
11 out of 171 were females!!!!!!!!!!!!

So if anyone wants to feel like a chick in a rooster pen, head to AF Officer school,LOL! You can have your pick of great men! handpicked ones for great traits even!

OK, I am a proud mama today, forgive me!

FANTASTIC, Marita!!!!!!!! Congrats to your son!
