True dat, Utah! I would have taken that dare if I'd read your post before I left work for the day. Although, before I left, I did say, "So will there be money in my bank account tomorrow morning, or is this strictly a volunteer gig now?" My 4 co-workers were all within earshot, and I know bossman was not thrilled, but I had to say something!

Thank googness for those nifty car seat covers- the ones that look like a shower cap and have a zipper and window. They are basically a coat for the carseat since little babies are not supposed to wear coats underneath the straps. Mine is fleece on the inside and jacket material on the outside. I had the little man bundled up inside and the cover zipped and the face flap down so the mess was contained in the carseat but the baby and carseat were soaked.

Would DSneedsanickname's teammates think y'all were strange if the Twinkie family showed up to practice in HazMat suits? Do they make HazMat suits with nursing flaps? Just a suggestion.

I read about cold weather, and jogging, and computer problems, and baby "beurk"ing, and carpet, and Scrabble etc.

I've been working lots. Maybe one of these days I'll see fit to go on a posting frenzy. I know how you love that.

cold... Marita ok guilty - I havent read back -

I've been MOMMA stressed - fdil went to Ohare airport to fly from here to Ft Myers for a wedding - well her flight was delayed, and BLESS HER HEART - she switched in Pittsburg from AA to US Air!! (WTH? she's young, breath in, breath out, she's not my kid, I cannot give advice and taped my mouth shut!) *sigh... My favorite Aunt Wilma was on her way to the airport when I called her "TURN AROUND" she said, I just got out, ok, what's going on? Her flight delayed, she forgot her phone, she's heading to North Carolina!!

Will someone tell me why it takes 8 hours from North Carolina to Ft Myers FL???? and DS and fdil are having their drama!! Hopefully she will land around midnight, Aunt Wilma promises to be there - she has fdil flight info - and cant wait to meet her!! (I had to give her the gossip, we hate fdil mother, this mom thinks dh and I are HIPPIES which is hysterical if you know dh and I... at least *I* think so!! )

so that's my drama...

Super Nanny and Project Runway, and Dh going on a work road trip - aaack - I have to mail myself a package... oh and I got a PM from julia&Nick's mom - I'm a "stalker" fan of hers!!!

I decided not to deal with the carpet issue tonight. Bleahhhhhhh. DH covered it up with a board so Jasper wouldn't dig at it any more.

Sandy, hope your fdil makes it OK to her destination. TG they are pretty goog at helping people rearrange flights to get to their destinations. People just have to be politely persistent when there are delays to make alternate arrangements. On the other hand, my coworker's hubby had to drive to O'Hare to pick up family members over the holidays when it was super windy. Flights canceled. No rental cars available. Amtrak and Greyhound full. That was an 8 1/2 hour round trip, but it was worth it to finally get them here from California after sitting in the airport and hotel for hours.

YIKES!!!! I just looked and it is 16 in my backyard. We usually aren't this cold.

Can somebody please help me? I am trying to ship a case of water from Costco to Pop. When I enter Pop's address it says it can't find it. I said use it anyway, but I want to make sure that my water will get there. What should I do?

Well, since this was my fifth post, I figured I would just post here instead of using another post.

I went ahead and shipped it to the 1050 address with my name - Guest checking in 1/9 and then put my ressie # in the address #2 line. Hopefully it will get there. We sure will need something to drink, and I don't want to pay out the wazoo for water.

I too was impatient! only I was trying to get into eeyore45 PM to see something -

My aunt wilma called, she's got her sign "FDIL I'm Aunt WIlma" Ft Myers airport is really tiny (esp compared to Ohare!! wish I had a picture!! )

so Aunt wilma calls, I'm walking around???! I say she's skinny, blond, usually wears a pony tail and jeans!!

30 min, I call DS, what is fdil wearing? "MOM, telll me right now what is dad wearing" son, you dont want to know!! (seriously, he was in the bathroom!! BUT I know what he wore to work, his Irish Sweater, and khakis. and yes, I know what color the man's underwear was - its so darn cold he put on his long johns!! THAT is something to remember!!

I must be slap happy tired!!! I'm so LOL its just silly!!

FDIL just called, all is well, she had lots of drama, and lots of kind people shared their cell phones!! (the pay phones dont take money, and the shops dont sell phone cards!!) Good thing I packed a box of chocolates for Aunt Wilma!!

Now we can rest peacefully!!
