MOOvin' Along - Goog Times, Goog Friends . . . Part 2

I've encountered her in real life once, and she was....not very nice at all (both to me and a sales clerk). I'm sure she's only human and she certainly has been through a lot, but she was downright snooty to me. Eh! Maybe it was a bad day. A day to be randomly rude.

My sister In Law encountered her years ago on the BYU campus and Marie was rude to her too. Maybe she was having an off day then too.

I think the depression has been her burden for years. She does seem brighter in spirit these days, I notice.

Oooooh, there's thunder!

"Tut Tut, it looks like rain!" -Christopher Robin

Random post (just starting a posting frenzy!)

1. dh is buying donuts to celebrate dd bday - :sad2:
2. Thursday is our day for rain - the "meteroglist" say tornados could be problamatic on Thursday... heads up people! :confused3
3. IRL I got to meet Donny - he was so amazingly kind, nice... It was during his "Joseph" days in Chicago - he included the hoh/deaf (hard of hearing) in the play! :thumbsup2
4. I've been told I look like Marie :lmao:

Poached? Come again?
Poaching = hunting and taking game outside of hunting season and/or without a license. People can be fined big time (and worse, especially if it is a threatened or endangered animal) if they are caught. The conservation officers typically seize the illegally taken game as evidence.

You're forgiven since you're not near Nashville and can't try The Pied Piper, my niece's ice cream place. But Graeter's is VERY goog.
DTD, my DD is going to Nashville for Fall break (this weekend, I think) with some friends, but I don't think they'll be looking for ice cream places  I think they'll be a bit more like the buddies you went to WDW with, LOL.

Then tell her to go to Second Avenue, the big tourist hangout and look for Hooters. Walk around the corner to the back and enter The Beer Cellar. Best selection I've ever seen. Over 60 beers on tap. And it's mostly locals.

interesting...individual response, utahm....at first thinking what
are the chances?...but then, i begun thinking about how darling
you prsented in your pics...., * now its been awhile, since spending
time in those circles, ..but...i sorta recalled...a lil'about those dynamics...
& since there is a pattern...being established...sooo you made her
feel defensive ..and maybe a lil' jealous ? :rolleyes1 . well, liked
i said...you sure take darling pics..., one can see why she felt
so...catty? :wizard:

...role model, is the public behaviors that increase one's chances..for
positive outcomes...toward individual happiness? :yay: [ i think
money is over rated, where judgments, become so impaired- that alot
sell... what they can not get back...]

...one of my most staples... is a reminder...that the best i can "tell', is
what makes me happy...something everyone must do for themselves...
so with that,i only suggesting to chose the things today, that you will
want to remember tommorrow.

..oh, it is true,, that with so many negative peers feedback...it was
easy, not to place any values on their input....so i started relying on
my feelings as a guide. [ while i will never be rich or famous, i wouldn't
trade my life for anything...]. and its kinda hard to find reality..when
all you get from others...is make believe. ugh, that's creepy!

so by oops, ...i have come to realized..it isn't required to be
happy..every second of every day....to live a happy life, so it is
true...one dosen't need the whole world to love you..just a few ,
making up one's family circle.

sorry, i don't know marie "personally", so i have no idea..but i bet ,she
has a few insecurites...from all the isolation?

oh, the one time we met...it was by accident..big surprise, ,
& she was sitting on one of those metal chairs..."practicing"...psst,
sorta hard to look graceful...on one of those ratty chair. :scared:

you do realize , how much you sparkle? and while everyone, has such
a loving family.....it isn't as common as one might thinks..in reality,
something very, very special. and in envy. :flower3:

ps, you 're won't forget me..when you hit the lottery...darn life, can
be sooo unpredictable, huh?

GOOG MORNING! :sunny:

TIME TO GET UP AND DANCE!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkMy4YWJb7Y

Thank goodness PJ's back and cooking breakfast! I was never a breakfast eater until I started forcing myself...it jump starts your metabolism in the morning. So. Now I eat a bowl of cereal or if I'm outta time I grab a Nutrigrain bar and a yogurt on the way out. If I don't eat, my stomach give me loud and embarrasing reminders.

PJ!!!
I'm so glad the haircutting incident was avoided! I had one of those in my 3-yr-old mission group once. TWO children were trimmed by one evil-smiling child.

Wendy
....My mom always washed my hair in the kitchen sink with a little towel pillow when I was a little girl. It made me smile that you do that with Norah.

Moo! We have Graeter's here too! There's one so close that the kids can walk to it! And they do! All the time! "Bye, Mom, we're going to Graeter's!"

Javamom....:thumbsup2 on the sister trip! I wish I had a sister. :sad1: I'm so glad my girls have each other...even if they hate each other right now.

Marita! Here's to stir fry! Enjoy your thank you lunch. I have recently discovered that I almost never have to take my lunch to work. I keep forgetting and there's always chili, sandwiches, chicken, or sumpn left in the refrigerator from some meeting or another. Last week there was peel/eat shrimp!

Celery
....Why aren't you eating??? Eat sumpn, woman! Are you having a Morning Spark this morning. I hope so!! Your post yesterdee was a hoot!

Twinkie
.....I'm on the games board, hitting refresh, waiting.... :rolleyes1

UD....Here are a few hints on the quiche if you make it....If the 1 cup cream and 2 eggs don't look like enough "juice" to fill your crust, you can add 1/2 cup milk and another egg to the batter if you need to. And if you use lots of veggies and no bacon, add some salt and pepper. The bacon is salty enough if you use that.

MommyP, NAB, BNCG, Lynette, Poly, DTD, LilG.....:wave2:

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!

/
Good thing my child with the same name spells it the other way......

You get the A for handling a whole day with 33  by yourself. And narrowly averting the drastic makeover planned.

I am outa here too.

I need my beauty sleep.

I hear that a posting frenzy in the works. :cool2:
So now you and I are just passing the "A" back and forth? We do seem to be the 2 most deserving, so it makes sense. ;) Enjoy your posting frenzy, y'all.

Ooooohhhhh.....like Big Red and Little Red on Kilamanjaro Safari. I totally knew that. Momentary lapse or somethin.

GOOG MORNING! :sunny:

1. Dance? Must we really dance? I can barely function at this time of day. I think I'll skip the dancing. :sad2:

2. I hate eating breakfast. It's the worst. My stomach always hurts in the morning. I just do it because it's necessary. It's another one of those times I wish I could just take a pill instead of eating.

3. Isn't it ironic how the culprit always seems to have an evil little smile? I mean, this kid totally knew that what she was considering was wrong. Yet there she stood with that wicked little look on her face....

Anyway, GOOG MORNING, SUNSHINES!!!
gm3.jpg

I don't know if that counts as cooking. I think that's an egg.
Have a good day everyone, and think positive thoughts that my teacher's son won't be sick again.

Mooooverrrrs!

It's my Friday. I love Wednesday no work till Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!

LEX (- Y - Right!). Thanks for your extra bit of help! I'm going to the store today. I hope it turns out!

Good morning UM, PJ, Minnie and DT. have a wonderful Wednesday everyone:)

Goog Morning!

No special plans for me today. Just laundry, cleaning bathrooms and a nap.

Tonight is church, it's a yearly congregational meeting, bilingual. Pretty sure I'll have a headache or something so as not to torture myself so. The Hispanic part of our church have some serious issues. Like crowding in the bathroom and standing in front of the stalls, sinks and completely IGNORING you when you say "excuse me". Pushing small children(mine) out of the way in the hall. Calling us "Americans" and "Spanish". Though, I'm fairly certain not one of them actually comes from Spain. They toadily don't want anything to do with us "Americans" yet they are supposed to be a part of our church. Actually sharing membership, which is weird. It used to just be sharing the building. I don't know what happened. It's so messed up. :confused3

Ethan's rash is worse. Guess he'll be doped up with benedryl. :rolleyes1

Uma - Yes it IS IsAac. I don't know what I was thinking. Usually, not much. ;) Noah Aaron goes well together too. I don't know what to pair with IsAac.

It's off to school. :teacher: Oh yay. :cool2:

I know Lynette is the caff expert, bbn!

I know that you know that I know that you know that L is the caff expert. hee hee

Thanks. And thanks for the well wishes. As for the Dental Plan- let me just say... to only need braces would be a huge savings........

:scared1:

Hoya peeps:

I am so tempted to post the name of the child who was going to do the hair cutting, but that of course is strictly forbidden. I will say that it was a girl, she has the same name as a poster here (and another poster's middle name) AND, more importantly, her name is even spelled the same as our poster. :rolleyes1 Figures, doesn't it?

Sheesh, I wonder what it could be?:rolleyes1 (just how many posters middle names do you know? i'm thinking one, MAYBE two)

Oh yeah, the next chapter is up.

I will be back this afternoon to read.

Random post (just starting a posting frenzy!)

I've been told I look like Marie :lmao:

I can see that from your pic. :thumbsup2

I quoted more people, but I don't know what the heck happened, so :wave2: to all the mooooooovers.

how is everyone this morning ?

Hope everyone is well this morning. I'm tired and think a nap is in order :)

Still warm here- why oh why is it in the high 70's- it is mid October for goodness sake.
Today is the biggest cruise sale of the year and there are some outrageous deals to be had. I'm tempted to book something but may wait and see if the "free air to San Juan" deals are offered again for next year.
There's actually a European cruise being offered with free air,pre-paid gratuities and ginormous onboard credits- seems even better than free dining :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

morning y'all.........is that right? Okey I am a yankee.....goodmorning everyone.....

I take Megara out and lo and behold.....white stuff on the grass........we had a frost for sure......well then I look at the temp thing on the outside window and it is only 34......I love heat in the house......what a great feature someone invented for us to be happy.........oh that and AC .....hahaha..

just called and made Megara's reservation at the puppy penitentary......hubby renamed puppy play school to that.......she will miss us so much......and I will miss her.......yesterday she did an escape artist trick.....the second fence gate on the opposite side of the house opened and Megara was BORN FREE.....hubby went to look for her and she was in the driveway and then the school bus stopped......someone yelled Meg and she went.......thank goodness the bus had red lights on and no traffic was moving....she went out in the road.......I opened up the door and said you get your little fanny right in here.......and she came right to me.......thank goodness......I cringe to think of what would of happened with traffic going by.....we have a huge back yard for her to run in and its all fenced in ......she has a field day playing in there...

Poaching is bad for the environment too......if this continued the herd would be gone in certain areas and no reproduction going on......sad to think that some are doing that.....this saturday is Junior day for hunting.....so hubby takes our grandson and he can only sit with him and gs is only one with a gun...very good to introduce young people to the hunting experience.
Even if I didnt get a deer .....sitting in the woods is something else......I have seen fox, and coyote, a huge black fisher that shook me up.....moose when it wasnt moose season...(that almost did my hunting in) scared me to death...I have watched a pilated wood pecker.....HUGE wood peckers that look like the cartoon character.....and a perfectly silent owl that only made a swoosh noise when it flew near me......I love being outdoors regardless if I get any game or not...I remember my first time alone (hubby left me on my log) and It was sooooo quiet......I heard a bear in the woods behind me and then a little bitty mole (think one thumb size) jumped out at me and scared the bejibbers out of me....laugh now to think of that......I can do little field mice and big critters easily

morning y'all.........is that right? Okey I am a yankee.....goodmorning everyone.....

good try pumba! We will have you y'alling in no time. And that babynurse will make sure we are all using yeehaw daily.

yesterday she did an escape artist trick.....the second fence gate on the opposite side of the house opened and Megara was BORN FREE.....

1. I love that movie. I cry every time. I even read the book which was goog too.

2. Goldenchild is also BORN FREE. A couple of days ago the neighbors returned him buck nekkid. I had dressed him and he was supposed to be in the house but he silently stripped and left. And of course he knows how to use the gates on the backyard. I can only imagine what the neighbors think of me. We currently live in a very yuppie area. Our neighborhood is where all the freaks with 3 kids (carefully spaced 4-5 years apart so only one will be in daycare or college at a time) live since every house is 4 bdrm. :rolleyes1

another post for the cause:

In between the riddle and the frenzy, I missed my own 3000 MOOHOOTY.

MOOOHOOOTY to me!

I heart you LilG! You have the nicest way about you! I won't forget any of US when I win the lottery. :cool1: DVC for all!!!
good try pumba! We will have you y'alling in no time. And that babynurse will make sure we are all using yeehaw daily.

WHY do kids DO that? Norah is such a nekkie-freak-streaker too. That must have been deee-lightfu to have a yuppy neighbor return your nekkie child! :rolleyes1 At least it was YOUR child, not a daycare child! (NO, it hasn't happened, but I'm skeered it will)

MommyP- How about a DISNEY middle name? Hee Hee! Isaac Fauntlaroy?

My niece has triplets and when they were younger......she had to use duct tape on their diapers and on the front part of their jammies so they would not strip in their cribs..(think Smearing)...She used to take photos of them and there it was duct tape......one time she used camo tape.......hey whatever works...

Talked one hour this morning with DIL .....I am blessed that she loves me too.....I mean I read about all these people who dispise their inlaws.......mils fils and sils ...and I have this great girl being the mom to our two youngest grandkids and I am happy happy.......
Today is our oldest grandsons birthday......he is 16 today and also his parents anniversary......two for the price of one.....I have to go and pick up a card and stuff money in it.....the universal gift for one and all.....hahaha

I guess I should get in the closet and see what outfit I will wear in November to this NYC wedding we are going to......hope I have something .....cause I dont want to buy anything for a one shot deal.....

Boy is this slow today. It wouldn't even let me on this morning.

Wonder if it has to do with the new siggy rules today?

Moo Hoooty Twinkie!!

I was up most of the night with Hannah. She was throwing up. I think it was anxiety over the kitten we just got. She is trying really hard to get over her fear of cats. She held it last night before we adopted from the shelter. It is an orange tabby, almost 4 months old. Nicholas too was excited when we got it but upset when he went to bed. Scared he would not be able to handle all what comes with owning a cat. We thought they were ready for this but maybe not. If it doesn't work out Grandpa will take the kitten but I hope they give it an honest try. This is our first family pet.

Guess I better high tail it over to the riddle if it lets me....

Utah: I like big dogs. Why am I singing commercials?
And why am I singing hip hop songs?
I like big dogs and I can not lie.
:rotfl2:

Oh, well aren't y'all just a hoot. Fine, it was a little funny.

I don't know where I got this non reader of posts reputation. Yes, I eat eggs. So, thank you for the quiche recipe, Lexi. And yes, Celery, you are correct...Cincinnati sucks.
Today was a crazy day in the land of Montessori. My teacher's son was sick so she couldn't come in. The crappy butt principal didn't call a sub so I had the 33 little angels all to myself. That said, there was only one minor incident all day which involved children and cutting their own hair. The crisis was averted though and all children were sent home with the same amount of hair on their heads that they came into my classroom with. Gotta love 'em.

Sweet dreams, everyone.
:grouphug:
1. We are very witty and funny. Admit it!
2. Make a quiche post haste!
3. Your hair disaster avoidance technique is amazing!

Cincinnati has one thing going for it . . . Graeter's ice cream, the best on earth!!!!!!!!!!!
I kept passing graeter's leaving the clinic - but as I said before, it's in the ghetto. and I was a bit petrified.
but they have this sign that says they have the best caramel apples.
I really wanted to test that cuz everyone knows the apples on main street in MK are really the best.
PJ - go test it for us!

Yes, there is something - off? about people named that. :sad2: But we love them anyway.

You're forgiven since you're not near Nashville and can't try The Pied Piper, my niece's ice cream place. But Graeter's is VERY goog.

I was thinking about her place the other day - Ben and I like going to the ghetto kroger and ghetto liquor store around the farmer's market - and I remember you said her shop was somewhere near there.

Random post (just starting a posting frenzy!)

1. dh is buying donuts to celebrate dd bday - :sad2:
Your DD is going on record as having the longest birthday ever!!!!

DTD, my DD is going to Nashville for Fall break (this weekend, I think) with some friends, but I don't think they'll be looking for ice cream places  I think they'll be a bit more like the buddies you went to WDW with, LOL.

Hehehe. I wish I could party with them, but it's Tammy's surgery tomorrow so I doubt she'll feel up to it. I second Donald's suggestion of 2nd avenue - all of the clubs and spots there are fun.

Then tell her to go to Second Avenue, the big tourist hangout and look for Hooters. Walk around the corner to the back and enter The Beer Cellar. Best selection I've ever seen. Over 60 beers on tap. And it's mostly locals.
I like the beer cellar - but last time I was there, there was a roach and it freaked me out so I ran away.
but they have woodchuck pear on tap. or at least they used to. not that I can drink it now.

Celery
....Why aren't you eating??? Eat sumpn, woman! Are you having a Morning Spark this morning. I hope so!! Your post yesterdee was a hoot!
Glad you liked it! No morning spark yet. I had to get an echocardiogram and I was really nervous, so I knew I didn't need the extra rev. I'm trying to drink a lot of my un caffeinated water first - although I am sipping on a cup of coffee.
cuz I was depressed after my test.
and I've been craving pastry real bad.
So I swung by panera on the way to work.
Only I forgot it's october and thus breast cancer awareness month so they have my most favoritest bagle in the whole world!
the pink ribbon bagel!
it has cherry and vanilla in it and instead of being round, they make it in a ribbon shape.
so I got a cherry cheese pastry and a bagel with honey walnut cream cheese.
I've only eaten two bites of each cuz I don't want to get sick.
so I have lots left, if anyone wants some!
as soon as I finish my water, I'll have my spark.
and then the posting frenzy will begin.
mixed with work because I have a little mini project I have to finish today cuz I promised an administrator and it's the one from Dothan, AL that prays before every meal and I love him and his billers almost better than any of the other clinics. Besides Albuquerque.
thank you, drive thru.
