PJ, I know that $$$ always works well with my DD! But now that she lives so far from home, I no longer try to bribe her to help with cleaning the house. I just got her birthday list, so I'm sure she'll be really easy to get along with this weekend when she visits. I try really hard never to say anything critical to her.

My mom was always good like that with me, but as a mom you sometimes want to help prevent your children from making some of the same mistakes that you made.

Nabbie, it seems like it was just yesterday that your kids were getting out for summer vacation!!!

..i hope tammy ok, c~girl.

...me, you never know...when i walk in to work..how long
iam going to be there...the last 2 days, i been there all
night into the next day....& the second time, right smack
into a medical emergency......you know? where i work, the
icu nurses../medical nurses..think very lowly of us.....
that's a very poor sterotyping..based on inaccurate info..,

most of us...have icu experiences...& me? ..i wasn't a combat
rn for nuthing....[ not only did i take..atls {advanxed trauma
life support] , i passed . its a course desigend for physicans..
they can only be "registered"...ha! - 60 % drs. don't pass....*
in the military..they put their combat nurses thru..for the
obvious reasons...not only did i passed...the person, doing the
"surgery evualtions" ...stopped everyone..& had them come
over to our team [ the one i was doing all the procedures]..
he said, :"this is how its down"..... , not bad, since
i was the only rn doing it?


sooooo when these so code nurses....are trying to put us down...&
when they are screwing up all over the place....let's just say..i took
the bull by the horns-

woosers, i know all of this must sounds way out there...but what can
i say..it is the truth..& iam to old to be making up junk to impress
the girls? * funny thing, i never saw myself doing anything
really special., just participating..in the game of life. not that you
all would not deserving..of "impressions--- ~ "

ha! ..i keep forgetting c~girl, how you process stuff...right to the point.

however, your lil'family intros..makes me... & happy. oh,i read the
stuff you observing.....you have the right insights!

to do ...in life? pssst, i used to have alot of energy....really,
i must say..you guys all look darling in the cruise pic! i bet all the younger
cast members were trying to earn ..extra attentions? we have done
5 cruises..with 6th for next year.... how many ? and are you going
again?..are you meeting the "mickey gang" in september?

..our extreme home make over..was about a mother who lost a son..
it was very worthy..... ...i kind glad..they toned it down, so
maybe they could help more in need... . now backstage
girl???..if i was in charge of the pixie dust... , i think m.p.,
would be a very deserving family..for already doing so much "role
modeling"! & wouldn't those boys be delighted to be "staying" in
the castle room?

anyhoo...it makes me happy, seeing disney helping these families!

MP, This thing is DEFINITLY NOT a receiving blanket, more like receive an adult person..... But you get what you get, MP, sorry! You can throw it out as soon as it gets there. It keeps me occupied for now, so its all goog!

I'm not sure what that means. But I'm sure I'll love it.
I attempted to vacuum today. And my DYSON ;love: would not turn on! I didflip the switch for the outlet, at least 3 times. SO I figured it died.

Then DD got home, and I told her about it, and she said, did you try another outlet (not quite that nicely).
I said, it never occured to me that an outlet could be bad!

But low and behold, another outlet worked, and the house is now properly vacuumed!

I know a goog electrician. Too bad I didn't know sooner since we were in Orlando on Sunday.

I hate having to get back into normal life after having had Chad home for 4 days.

Everyone is so cranky today for some reason and I can see a nap in my future.

It was so hot here yesterday. I laid out for 1 hour and got sunburn and I had a low number sunscreen on. I had to keep getting in the boys pool because it was so hot. Later I found out that at 9AM my BIL's thermometer was reading 119(in the sun, which is really a more accurate temp. than doing it in the shade because you really can't stay in the shade all the time.) I was outside at 11, I can't imagine how hot it was then.

Today I have to catch up on laundry. Yuck!

MP- sunburns can be dehydrating even when you are out of the sun- rest today and drink your water!

Everyone was so excited to get back to school here. DS has his first football game so this required wearing a white button down shirt to school. Of course he told me that at 9:30 pm last night. The DH saved the day with a late run to Target. Also the team had a 6:30 am practice today and he woke up at 5 so he would have time to watch TV before school. Now in the last 9 years of his education we have never let him watch TV before school. I think he was banking on that we would be so groggy and disoriented we would just say yes. You have to get up earlier than that to outwit a twinkiemama my dear son.

The little twinkies also woke up VERY early. The next two weeks are color (colour) weeks at school. It was very important to pick out their RED outfits 6 hours before the bus comes. And Twinkerbell is Happy Helper today so we need to make a snack to bring to school. Her show and tell has been packed for the last 2 days.

Goldenchild snuck into our bed last night. Fell out. Thud! But just rolled over and went to sleep on the floor. I left him there until he rolled under the bed and got stuck- still asleep mind you but yelling "mama!". I had to retrieve him, wake him up and calm him down.... that was at 3:35 am.

So everything is back to normal here at Casa de Los Twinkies.

Poor Golden Child! I love children's ability to curl up where they lay (lie) and fall asleep.

We just bought our boys white button down shirts for church so if they happen to need to wear one to school- for gosh knows what reason- we're all set!

My kids are out of school today! Except for the college man-child who has his How to be a Student class this morning. I think we're making bread dough animals today cuz I thawed out some Rhodes dough. Sounds like loads of fun! Now what to do for the other 11 hours of our day...

Today is hottie dentist day. But not for me, it's the boys turn. I do have to ask him if he remembers a nurse that I work with. Apparently they went to high school together. She's the type of gal, you don't forget....knowwhatimsayin?

Morning all,

Twinkie that is a tough call. Tears of joy I would believe.

Hannah to was up at 3:30 thinking it was time to get up to go to school. Then when I did go into her room she scared me because I bearly had the door open and she jumped out of bed.

She said she had butterflies in her tummy.

Nicholas tried the same thing this morning Twinkie but it was the computer....didin't work either.

Their new school is huge. Three floors, double gym, holds 800 students S.K. to grade eight. Nicholas will get alot of execrise because his room is on the third floor, Hannah is on the first.

Best news I heard this morning is that the open house is Oct.4th. I will not miss it when I am in WDW. Now I hope the same is for the school pictures.

Lexi -- that is pretty cool. I love pictures. I got the CD last time because I had Hannah's pictures on it taken at the BBB studio. I didn't even do the BBB but they will take the pictures anyway. Hannah was all dressed up like Belle and
Sleeping Beauty.

Celery -- your so mean..I could live with pink toes though. Hope Tammy is ok and can still enjoy WDW with her ears like that.
