Trying pretty hard? no. Just sometimes, in the past, people have said they are intimidated by our collective coolness here or it could have been our collective wIerdness. Y'all are the hotT college chicks but we may have been called the cool kids of the DIS I just wanted everyone to know that that they are welcome to come and play.

I'm about to watch "The Wedding Crashers" with dh. Did I ever tell you guys, I'd take Vince Vaughn over Brad Pitt anyday? Probably never knew that about me. p.s. Twink: I know you know there's a Wilson brother in this movie.

We just watched that movie a couple of weeks ago, The DH really loves that movie, doesn't he? I can never decide which Wilson brother is funnier.

Goog Morning!

Today I didn't get out of bed until 9:45. I was planning on getting up early, because yesterday I actually felt pretty good all day and I was up at 5:30. However I didn't. I figured the longer I stayed in bed the sooner Chad would be home from work.

We're having my sister and her DH, plus my little Brother over this afternoon for ribs. We tried this a few weeks ago and we ended up with rib jerky. (Chad always burns the ribs) So HOPEFULLY today with us reminding him of that horrible day he will take my advice and cook them on SUPER low and put them on the top rack(grill) when they are done! That reminds me, I have to make coleslaw.

My clean bathrooms of yesterday are gone. The boys used to do such a good job keeping their sink clean. I don't know what's happened.

PJ - We have a boxer. She loves to get into Chad's work truck in the morning before he sees and then he takes her to work with him. So I suppose she thought she'd get to go somewhere cool if she got in their truck. Of course, they were terrified of her(6 grown men), and couldn't get her out of the truck themselves. lol

And oddly enough, I will be home alone. Well, alone with the twentysomething kiddos. I think we are going to have a fine dinner of "clean-the-fridge" and then watch High School Musical 2.

I haven't seen either High School Musical but I trust that the ending will be happy AND that the plot shouldn't tax my brain too much so I should be able to and if anyone is around.

PJ- I was going to answer your Boxer question but it proved to be kind of complicated. Cause I would say they are medium-big. But it depends on what you are used to so you might consider them big. They other thing is that they can be intimidating to strangers. And the ones I have met have been fairly smart, ie not easy to trick. However grown men should have been able to deal with the dog. But maybe the neighbors wanted to see cute pregnant MommyP climb up in the truck and dog wrestle.

Our new neighborhood is full of huge dogs. Every dog on our street weighs at least 100 lbs (and two of them probably weigh close to 120!). They seem nice but the twinkie twins who each weigh in right at 40 lbs and are about 42 inches are kind of nervous when they come over.

But I am up for AND later tonight.

So, news of the day (well. it's really not news, just a tad of info).
Last time I had my nails done, I got a young girl who took like 1 12 hours for what usually takes 45 mins. Acouple of weeks later, I got a pedicure, and got a lovely lady about my age(read: OLD), and I liked her work, so I got her name.

So today I called and made an appointment with her for naiils.

SHE FRIGGING TOOK 1 1/2 HOURS TOO!!!!!!!!! But she did a very nice job.

Exciting news, that little whole in the wall place I go to is adding facials to their options. They are sectioning off a part of the place for that. I think the owner's wife is the ownly one certified for it. I asked her about some miracle treatment, but I didn't get an answer (she is Vietnames), not that means anythings, she speaks fine English I'll have to check back before the meet though.... I think she avoided the question!

Thinking back now, the news is NOT so exciting if they can't work miracles..

it is sooooooo hot and humid here......tried to stay in and veg by the computer..and ac....this morning at ten am ....my bil comes and brings his virus full computer......hubby took care of it and within two and a half hours it was well and back home.......before bil left our home ..his computer was on the chair in the living room ready to go out the door......my niece comes in with her computer......we gave her this computer two years ago when she said she wanted to go to college......she is a single mother to a little boy and has her two years under her belt and going for two more to get her BS in something....but thing is she needs her computer.....cause she has two classes that will be on line......so does she come this summer ....NOOOOOOOO she brings it before she starts fall semester.....geesh....

then my daughter calls up and asks to borrow my back yard..figured she was bringing her Victorian bulldog to run lose.......well that and a new rottie....the new baby is 16 weeks old and is so darn cute......her name is Daisy.....Daisy Duke.....daughter and son in law had a rottie for ten years and Clutch was a huge marshmallow.....loveable and wanted to kiss the world.......I said HUBBY get me a doggie to play with Megara.......but he said.....no wife...megara is an only child.......I always laugh when he says that......to funny.....
I went to a chat place four times last night and a few times today........whaaaaaaa no one was home....

it was 94 this morning and the dewpoint and humidity was heavy enough to cut with a knife......now we are in the severe watch for tonight....wonder why? hahaha.......I love air conditioners.......my type of house....and truck......just asked hubby to go for a hot fudge sundae but noooooo he says......you are on two choices for meals and one choice for snack......I said yes hubby......but mama wants a big hot fudge with whipped cream and a cherry on top.......now is that to much to ask.......ya think?

Yes my nails look lovey, but they should have looked lovely in 45 minutes, not 1 1/2 hours!!!

My verdict so far on peel is: I can't tell any differerence!!!!
